I love astronomy. So many different classifications what is zooming around in Space and I love any documentary on such or even reading. A meteoroid is a small rocky or metallic body travelling through space. Meteoroids are significantly smaller than asteroids, and range in size from small grains to 1 meter-wide objects. Smaller objects than this are classified as micrometeoroids or space dust. Most are fragments from comets or asteroids, while others are collision impact debris ejected from bodies such as the Moon or Mars.Just what is floating around the galaxies is, to quote Spock "fascinating" - and that doesn't include the possible (probable) existence of alien life I do love mysteries I saw something a few weeks ago and can't remember what it was (either fiction or a doc) and someone explained the difference between a meteor, meteoroid and meteorite EDIT: Still no idea where I heard it Astronomy debate here lol. I joined the NASA website years ago and look in there daily. Look at the link below... apod.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.htmlThis is todays picture titled Pillars and Jets in the Pelican Nebula

Beautiful - site bookmarked Look underneath all pictures buddy and you will see the bar below. If you go into the search tab then you can look for anything to do with planets, meteors, asteroids etc that they have created and commented about. It does give you a big insight on astronomy. <| Archive | Submissions | Index | Search | Calendar | RSS | Education | About APOD | Discuss | >

Darwin was a very interesting figure, so I can see the appeal of that. Grew up watching Nova. Not sure if they offer Amazon Prime abroad, but they have like twenty years worth of episodes on there. Great documentary series.

Have too see if I can my hands on that or look out for it on TV.

Will watch it in a few days - always thought Darwin was interesting and also a very brave man going against what 99% of the country believed BTW - we do have Prime here too but TBH not worth me getting as I have access to pretty much all I want anyway Would certainly recommend it for people who don't - great value at about £79 a year (compare that to what you pay for Sky/Virgin) and you get free next day delivery on almost everything you buy Big fan of Amazon - spent nearly 5 grand last year

Off current topic, but you guys ever watch Primevel? Total nerd fest, but actually liked it myself. Kind of in the same vein as WH13 for me, shows I watch while drawing or playing video games.

Watched a couple of episodes and thought it was aimed more at teens than old gits like me Quite a lot of SciFi and Horror is aimed at teens now (especially girls)

Honestly I play a few app based games on my tablet so half the shows I watch are kind of back ground noise. Watched the entire series of Inspector Lewis and have almost no clue what it is about. Though I did notice the town of Oxford has a shockingly high murder rate.

I know what you mean - I've watched several series that have so many episodes that you just have it on in the background - usually I've seen it before so you can keep up with the story just by listening and occasionally looking at the screen while I'm surfing
