Passing the time with Lizard Lick towing. A 'reality' show about a repo company in the red neck part of A'merica. Terrible, clearly fake but fuck me it's funny and hypnotic like watching a fat guy dance on you-tube. Don't judge me!!! I like it, Dave is my daytime salvation I still haven't forgiven them for taking off American Pickers and putting it onto a weekend slot. Worse than Hitler the Dave schedulers are. Top Gear, yeah another storm in a tea cup, as I always say there are those who fucking hunt and find any reason to be offended and Clarkson is gold dust to them. I hope he tells the BBC to stick it because I'm sure a few channels would love to try and replicate Top Gear but without all the bloody restrictions the BBC set on banter. |

I love Clarkson and like you said, the show will get picked up somewhere else quickly if it gets cancelled/he gets kicked off it(in another guise in that case) I hate all this rubbish about not releasing the details because it just gets whispers up on twitter and then news channels pick it up and next thing you know they are publishing every bit of controversy that Clarkson has been in...from dropping a crisp packets to having a joke about Mexicans like it is relevant. I'm a sucker for all those History Channel type shows. Usually hardcore pawn and Pawn stars, counting cars and American restoration as well. I have a weird fascination with Danielle off American Pickers...don't usually go in for tramp stamps and I'm a redhead type of guy but yeah...  |

Would love for topgear to go elsewhere, but I fear not many channels would have the money to produce it as well as it has been produced. Unless it goes to sky, in which case I can't watch it anyways. Topgear is always the perfect end to a week. Wonder what will spring up when the boys retire. edit.. dug a little more into the situation, looks like the whole rest of series has been dropped indefinitely, real fears we might have seen the last episode. At least on the bbc with clarkson |

The problem is that TG earns so much cash from overseas sales that they can't sack him - the show just wouldn't be popular without the same presenters and wouldn't sell BBC are in shit street whatever happens - they either reinstate him and carry on or they lose millions and eventually scrap the show Clarkson is still a winner at the end of the day - he either keeps his job at the BBC or someone like Sky will snap him up to front a rival show .. and guess which one the viewers will flock to  Clarkson is a bit of an enigma - seems a total cunt but also one of the lads too  |
