FFS tommo have some faith eh, I am with Rambling Red Devil on this one mate. I cant see anything other than a Utd win - Brucey wont want to be seen as doing anything other than being professional - its down to us to win it - and we will. As we will against Chelsea - its destiny... I dunno I'm just a bit pessimistic that's all. It's gunna be a really nervous 90 minutes. If we have a first half hour like we did against the Essex chavs it won't be nervous at all. I can see a 1-0 though to be honest.

I'm bouncing around like a flea on a dead dingo's dick already and there's still days to go! Ideally we'll put the game to bed early and then we can all relax and enjoy it. I have my doubts though and reckon we are in for a nervous 90 minutes! Im more worried about the dingos dick tbh - lol! I would love it, love it, if: Chelsea have beaten Bolton and the final whistles gone at the Bridge, but we are drawing and Ron does a huge 'Drogba wave breaking dive' (sorry gets fouled) in the box, gets up scores the pen in the 93rd minute and we win 1-0... LMFAO X 100000000000000000000000000000000000........... But im not bitter

With all due respect to Brucey, I hope we pummel Wigan and put a nice exclamation point on the last day of the season. Any win would do obviously. but a 4-0 scoreline would give us even more to celebrate over.

As much as Gavin's suggestion would make a good half hour television show, in reality i would have collapsed long before the final whistle and therefore missed the ensuing jubilation. I'll go with a 3-0, hopefully 2 of those coming in the first 15 mins to steady my nerves.

Anyone who remembers the final day against West Ham when Blackburn won the league will probably be thinking the worst going into the game. Can't be blamed, but I think we should win this one comfortably. Two goals before half time. UTD never do anything the easy way though so who knows.

That final day against West Ham was particularly hideous for me because i was listening to it on 5 live and they actually said United had scored a winner at one point, which was a right bastard.

Wigan have never been able to handle Ronaldo. Great point, Stewart. Ronaldo has run riot against Wigan before. If our trio of Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez all start the game, and all three play reasonably well i'd fear for Wigan.

statisticians?
again, is it true that we've beaten them 4-0 each of the last 5 times we've played them?

Vidic back for crunch clash
Nemanja Vidic will return for Manchester United as Sir Alex Ferguson's men look to complete a 10th Premier League title win by beating Wigan.
Vidic has not featured since suffering concussion in the defeat at closest challengers Chelsea last month but has been cleared by United's medical staff.
Wayne Rooney may be on the bench on Sunday after a recurrence of his hip problem in the same game, while Nani is suspended after being sent-off against West Ham last weekend.
United (from): Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Foster, Neville, Hargreaves, Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Pique, O'Shea, Evra, Silvestre, Ronaldo, Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes, Anderson, Giggs, Park, Tevez, Rooney.
I'd feel much more comfortable if Rooney is at least on the bench.

Rooney defo out I've been told. Is that because he's still injured, or because they want him to rest more for CL. I'd be ok with it if its because they want to rest him a bit more, i dont want him getting worse before the CL final.

as long as we aren't being attacked in the first 20 mins, obviously to come out the first 20 winning would be good but to come out comfortable at 0-0 attacking would be fine, we will DEFINITELY score at least 2 goals IMO.
