Rooney defo out I've been told. Since when? Ferguson and Manutd.com have both said he's a chance of making the bench, which means he may feature in the game. He's NOT defo out at this moment in time.

Been reading lots of interviews, blogs and "experts" predictions and everyone is saying that it will be a tense 90mins and it will be a close game.
I am missing some info that these people seem to have. Its Manchester United vs Wigan. A Manchester United with a fully fit squad, who control their own destiny, with the future FIFA World Player of the Year in the squad playing against a team that have nothing to play for. They're not fighting for Europe or relegation. Why is everyone predicting a tense match?
Bolton have as much of a chance of upsetting Chelsea as Wigan do on us. Yet everyone is saying Chelsea will win no problem??? Makes no sense
Anyways 3-0 United.
Ronaldo (2) and Carrick

Mike, we've lost to Pompey in the FA Cup this year and we were going to win that no problem. City have beaten us twice in the league this season we were going to coast those games, we were going to win at Upton Park and West Ham stuffed us. We were going to get the points at the Riverside handily enough and we scrambled a draw. The likes of Rosenberg have beaten us in the Champions League before. The fact that it's Wigan v Manchester United means bugger all Mike620...we SHOULD win the game, but nothing's ever a certainty in football...however many future FIFA World Player of the Year's we have in our side is irrelevant, it's all about what happens on the day.

EVDS Brown Vidic Rio Evra Carrick Hargreaves Scholes Ronaldo Tevez Giggs
Thats my team. Maybe start Anderson, but it depends if Fergie is going to be cautious since a defeat could really fuck us up. Hargreaves has been excellent lately so I think he'll start. I can see a win here. Wigan will be thinking about their holiday since their season is over. They will want to win, but they won't try as hard. Its nature I guess. It all depends on us keeping our composure and as long as we stay calm, the result will come. I'm gonna go for a 2-0 win with the second being a late goal to really do it in style. Chelsea should make easy work of Bolton so a win is a must. Its heartbreaking to think that we have come all this way to win nothing. Fergie knows what he has to do and we have been here before.
I wanna be on here tomorrow, drunk, AND LOVING IT!!

I'm not bitter!! Grrrrr!! Fair play to him though if he's managed to get tickets.

If we can't get ourselves up to beat Wigan then we really don't deserve to be champions.

I am going to stick my neck out and state my feelings. I really honestly feel that we shall loose. It is one of those feelings that really tell you that something will happen, which shouldn't under normal circumstances.

There seems to be a bit of pessimism this morning, and rightly so. We, and other favourites, have been through this same situation before and fallen at the final hurdle. I just wish the fixtures were reversed, and we were playing Bolton at OT.
However, we are not and have to beat Wigan at the JJB to secure the Premiership title; surely that is incentive enough for our current crop? You would certainly think so, and with that incentive comes pressure - lot's of it. Simple put, it is our title to lose, and has been for some weeks now.
My main concern is our current away form; two draws and a loss in the last 3 away games is not good form to bring into this game, especially as Wigan have a pretty impressive home record of late. The only saving grace is that United fans may well outnumber Wigan fans at the JJB today; I wouldn't be surprised if there are at least 12,000 United fans in the ground at kick-off.
I think devilforlife has got the starting line-up spot on; although Anderson or Fletcher may start in place of Park. This is effectively the same team that knocked Barcelona out of the Champions League and thrashed West Ham 4-1; surely enough for lowly Wigan?!

As RnH says for me unfortunately Its one of those games when everyone says we HAVE to win or we WILL win it but knowing how we've performed in similar games the inevitable may heappen Chill guys.. I know .We've been here before and somehow managed to screw up. Not today though. I'm not going to say we'll walk it. This is not normal match where against Wigan we could expect to walk it. Its going to be a tough game aginst a team who have shown they can get a result against the big boys. I really think the team spirit and the fact we will possibily have more fans there than Wigan will be enough to get boys through it. As I sit here in my lucky red boxers , lucky Unted mug within reach I just pray we get an early goal and hope we can get a 2 goal cushion before half time. Some how, I just know it ain't going to be that easy. However, today is our day and we WILLl truimph. #dance# #dance# #devilbanana# #devilbanana# #cdance# Chelsea #bummed#
