First things first, Emanuel Pogatetz is a bastard and I'd love someone to stick one on him when he comes back from suspension. Hope it isn't as bad as it looks for Rodrigo Possebon. Welbeck looked quality, Possebon, Da Silva again, I'm happy with that performance. Glad to see Ronnie grab a goal too. Welbeck speaks well for a young lad in his interview, wants to get back to training already and get into first team. Good on the lad, certainly has the potential. Giggs' finish was quality and nearly got a superb second, United played well. THE FUTURE IS FECKIN' BRIGHT!

I'm just too disapointed in the Possebon injury to get any satisfaction from this game. I was looking forward to him getting a few games and for him to be on the receiving end of a challenge like that from a fucking animal is a real sickner. That Pogatetz needs fucking locking up.

When I saw Pogatetz challenge I knew it was bad, graham souness said all he does is kick people, now I guess he just breaks limps, Fuck the result, how can you celebrate after that.

MANCHESTER United manager Sir Alex Ferguson launched a scathing attack on Emanuel Pogatetz after the Middlesbrough captain's nasty challenge on Rodrigo Possebon, who was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg.
Pogatetz was instantly red-carded by referee Andre Marriner in Tuesday's Carling Cup tie for his second-half tackle on Possebon, the 19-year-old Brazilian who had been impressive up to that point.
The Red Devils went on to win 3-1, but Ferguson was still shaking his head with disbelief after the final whistle.
"The injury looked really bad and the lad has gone to hospital," said the United boss.
"The thing that gets me about challenges like that is that the opponent always claims he has done nothing wrong.
"He (Pogatetz) should have just walked off the field. Then you get their bench screaming that is wasn't a sending-off and there is nothing wrong with our player.
"At least Gareth Southgate was very good about it. He apologised and understood the gravity. It was an absolutely terrible tackle."

Sickening tackle.
I'd love to be the one to give him exactly the same treatment, the dirty bastard.

Giggsy just said it was a really bad deep cut so hopefully it's not as serious as it looked. He's blessed if it isn't broken and it doesn't take away at all from that shitebag's challenge.

The blood did seem to be coming from a cut caused by studs rather than a protuding bone.
I am praying its not too bad...even a clean break isn't terrible news, he could be back this season.
