Shame about all the empty seats, but that's what happens when you have to auto-pay for your tickets even if you can't make it.
That tackle was nasty. I got some texts saying it looked like a leg breaker. Looked bad from my seat. I've seen pics in the papers and have just seen a video of it. Shocking tackle, what an absolute bell.
Probably our best performance this season, though.

Ok performance. Boro looked very poor, we were always in control I thought. The pluses were Possebon and Rafael who looks better and better every time he plays. The Scout who found these guys needs a serious bonus! Also Manouchos 10 min cameo was promising! Think the minuses were Nani's consistent mindset that he is Ronaldo, thought he was very poor last night, and of course the shocking tackle from Pogatetz.......the FA must act!

Well, the good news is that Possebon hasn't suffered a broken leg; however, he still may have ligament damage. With regard to the game, there were impressive displays from Rafael, Possebon, Welbeck, and Amos. This certainly bodes well for the future. In addition to that, Anderson and Nani weren't that bad either! Rafael and Possebon look great prospects for United. Possebon will soon be a regular in the centre of our midfield. Pleased that Manucho finally got some first team action; expect to see more of him in the next round.

We played good yesterday, but we should have killed the game faster. Rafael, Rodrigo seem very promising and Anderson was my man of the match. Nani also lookes sharp and dangerous but too selfish on few occasions.

Are there any videos of this tackle? My feed dropped off just before half and never caught the rest of the match.

Pogatetz is a total cunt! He has done this one too many times the guy is a thug.
Good result and great to get some of our midfield scoring again!

Boro are wank, I'm thanking God that I don't support that shower!
Anyways, plusses:
Possebon looks the fucking bizz, well until the tackle. Rafael looks ok too. Runs for Nani, C.Ron, Anderson and Manucho.
Minuses: Possebon going off after bossing the midfield. Wellbeck's a bit shot shy.

just started watching when mad dog assaulted possebon, prior to that i was driving home from work so for those who watched please enlighten me about possebons game. what was he doing, defending? attacking? or spraying balls? All of the above. He reminds of a young Paul Scholes, but with a better first touch. Whether he reaches the heights of Scholes is another thing, but I'm really excited about seeing him play with Scholed and Carrick when fit. Deffo our MOTM until the injury. Oh, and that tackle was brutal, was at the game and it looked bad from where I was sat in the Score Board end, but, fuck me. The FA needs to make an example and show these sort of tackles will not be tolerated. And I said the same thing after Eduardo, so it's not double standards unlike some people I've heard.

Finally a decent performance, worse thing was watching it on an extremely slow feed. Gutted for Possebon when he went off, thank God it's not a break. Woop woop, Ronaldo and Giggsy back on the score sheet!

He hasn't got a better 1st touch. I watch reserve games as well and can safely say he doesn't.
