Fucking knew we'd lose, except I said earlier it'd be 2-0 instead. Some awful performances today - Berbatov, Park and Neville the main culprits. We've gotta start taking the chances we make.

i was so disappointed i could barely speak out of frustration and anger after the match. so many missed chances that we should have buried but didn't and paid the price for it. suspect defending, poor finishing...there was no way we were going to win against the arse like that.
VDS and neville nowhere near good enough, and rio looked dodgy sometimes as well. berbatov, despite some good touches looks lazy to me. other united players running for the ball when arsenal has possession but he's walking around the front of th pitch. i know the team had just returned from glasgow and only had a couple of hours before getting on the bus to london but really...we could have and should have done much better. we're in danger of falling behind a bit if we don't get it together fast.

Just basically agreeing with the general feelings here. Neville's past it, but the one thing Fergie always gets right is developing the youth players. If RdeSilva needs those types of performances to develop then I'll live with it because the up side is him and Evra bombing up the wings....CRIKEY!!! Secondly, my head told me we had to win here...bloody Hull did, but my heart said we'd lose. Last year that would've been another 6-1. We've been shipping goals for fun this year and don't really seem to have that same passion, that same spirit, that same hunger to win as we did last year. And we're 1 from 9 away to the other big 3. Anyone looking forward to the COMS at the end of the month?

i cant believe we didnt get anything from that game, i mean we had so many chances but couldnt take any until the 87 minute or sumthin........i think Gary had a shocker! nearly every ball he passed either was wayward or hit an arsenal player.....also he caused the second goal, he ran out to make a challenge and failed so Vidic had to pull out wide which left the gap for Nasri to go through and score! Still we shulda took some of our chances!
Anderson and Ronnie had good games for me, and how good was Rafael when he came on! flying in to tackles and what about his goal! he's got a future in front of him....VERY NIICE

i thought fergie said he looked in their eyes in pre season and saw hunger. imo these guys talk too much in the papers they just need to shut up and play like they can and should be, y are we not taking the chances, also i have said it before berba needs to start scoring in the leagie he really has too. maybe fergie should trow carlito in for 2/3 games. i also think the youngsters and hope the youngsters push out some of the senior players force them to leave whilst they still have something and not shadows

Rafael Da Silva is the biggest positive to come out of this game, a star in the making and very composed on the pitch, if anyone has noticed he's always clapping the team on and any other youngster would be over the moon doing backflips are getting a goal against Arsenal but he just ran back urging the team to get one more...quality!.

I thought Anderson was superb yesterday, and I was shocked when Fergie took him off because we were left without any real ball winner. Neville was horrible the entire 90, and it was a relief when he was taken off for Rafael, who I believe should be starting our next few games. Pains me to say it, but Neville will never be able to regain his old form. I think Nani should have played in this one. His pace caused Arsenal all sorts of problems last season, and he would have done the same this time around. Fine Park runs his socks off for 90 minutes, but for god's sake, he does nothing when he has the ball sometimes! We created far too many chances to score only one goal, and when the 6 minutes came up I thought our players would go up an extra gear, but it wasn't to be. Does any else think Rio is looking completely out of shape and injured or something? He was outrun by Bendtner of all people! Disappointed to say the least, but 8 points adrift already... all could be rectified if we beat chelsea, liverpool and arsenal at O.T later on in the season and avoid any slip-ups in the other games.

However, I do not see the same passion in other players. One particular area of concern for me is our defence. This has more holes than a block of Edam cheese presently. Even the Rio/Vida partnership looked lost at sea at times yesterday. Enough has been said about Neville; therefore no point flogging a dead horse. I think we need to restore Wes to right back and tighten at the back; because if we continue to waste chance after chance, we'll pay. The fact we have played our three main rivals away from home and gained 1 point is disappointing; however, in the coming weeks we have Villa and Citeh away. On current evidence that may be 1 point from five main rivals! We need to get some confidence back in the squad with convincing wins against QPR and Stoke next week.

we absoulutely have to batter those teams and to be honest do it without conceding a goal. what i dont get is the squad is big and pretty solid so fergie can afford to drop those that lack bite, it will shake them up big time. i love berba but as i have said he needs to score goals in the prem if all we wanted was tricks and flicks tthen he should have stayed in london, our way is tricks flicks steel and goals galore effective football.
