Farage has been noted as being a fascist from his university days. So whether folk like it or not, a vote for Reform is a vote for a fascist, racist leader at the very least.I don’t believe everyone who voted for them is necessarily racist and I do think it’s ok to have concerns about immigration. But those conversations need to be sensible and had with the type of empathy that certain politicians/people in the media won’t allow to happen. Utter rubbish. dont forget reforms chairman and biggest doner is a Muslim. Makes sense that Reform is funded by a kebab. They are a large bunch of meatheads.

Own it.

the Uk now arresting people for speaking online. we are in a dictatorship. the UK convict 3400 over the course of the year for inflammatory posts on social media, compared to 300 convictions in Russia. the UK is a total cesspit and i wish i could leave I’m not about to shed a tear for racist bigots who incite hatred and division online, leading to violence. They belong in jail. Also, why not make a trip to Russia and let us know how it is? It must be great, seeing as Russia has experienced the largest exodus of citizens in modern history over the past year. not all these cases are racial, its hate speech in general. that is subjective to how sensitive someone is. if you state (Note: im not for legal reasons) "the government are fucking useless cunts that are acting against their own citizens" - you can be arrested on a terrorist charges for inflammatory publications. this is a dangerous precedent. this is happening at the same time violent criminals and rapists are given lesser sentences, such as the man who was just released from prison 6 months into a life sentence for a machete murder. or the immigrant who raped kids having 2 year sentence.

I'm a free speech absolutist in most cases and censorship in the UK is on the rise. Some of the stuff yesterday on the radio about censorship of certain people and sites was over the top. If someone wants to argue a point then they should be allowed to argue it. Its on you to tell them why you think they're wrong by challenging them. Now there's free speech and hate speech and that's not allowed even in places like the US where free speech is a constitutional right. Its pretty easy to spot hate speech. Saying I don't like people from a particular faith is very different than asking people to purge them.

yes this story. he was equally responsible for the murder of another lad. he should be serving life. whatever way you look at it. and for him to be out so quick is a kick in the teeth for the victims family. what other posts are you referring to ? do you believe this lad, an obvious risk to society, running around with machetes, is more dangerous than people who discriminate online? who are receiving tougher sentances?

If it is this story why are you spreading misinformation? Or who provided you with this misinformation? Do they serve any particular purpose for you or the person who provided it to you? He wasn't serving life. He was serving 2 years and change. He didn't murder anyone. He gave someone a machete. All of your other hypotheticals are meaningless and serve no purpose, so discussing them are a waste of time. I believe someone who spreads rumors to incite violence are extremely dangerous to society. They take advantage of impressionable youth and turn them into hatemongers. One man with a machete can kill 1? 2? 3? Maybe even 4 people? I don't know. A man who incites 50 people to run around a town with petrol bombs, incendiaries, knives and whatever else, with an aim to cause violence against another set of people is extremely dangerous.

So the entire premise of your initial post was wrong. Glad we’re clear on that. I prefer to speak truths, facts, and what is rather than what could be based on baseless assumptions. For a discussion to have meaning it must be grounded in reality.

The guy who has got 20 months was calling for people to violently attack a specific hotel housing asylum seekers and refugees. The worrying precedent would be allowing people to do this without fear of punishment. Context is everything.
