Expected a little more from Whyte. Tried to box him at distance for the most part which was never going to work. Actually looked like we may get a decent fight when he rattled Fury with his rough-housing in round 3 or 4 I think it was but went back into his shell.
Some winning punch though! Reckon he doesn't retire if the right fight comes along, suppose this gives him a better bargaining position. Don't think he turns down Joshua if he comes calling.

The knockout could not have happened to a nicer character than Whyte!
Fury is clearly levels above the rest of them and if he trains properly and shows up mentally on it, he takes em all out. He will box the winner of the AJ bout and then I think he calls it a day.

Can't wait for AJ to be absolutely schooled again.

Massive Partridge energy from that wanker AJ. Spent the rest of my night defending AJ and putting his shit post fight behaviour down to him just being punched in the head by Usyk for half an hour. But I've watched it again this morning and it's fucking awful, Usyk looked embarrassed. Just give Usyk the mic and leave it. It's his moment not yours.

Didn’t he also hog the mic after Usyk schooled him the first time? Bloke’s a fucking tosser. Glorious fall from grace from manufactured national treasure to whatever this is. Big stiff idiot.

If AJ doesn’t have severe CTE, then he definitely has some sort of neurodiverse issues.

If AJ doesn’t have severe CTE, then he definitely has some sort of neurodiverse issues. Nope, he's just really bitter about the abuse he gets. He's been slaughtered by people who know nothing about boxing and he just can't hack it and shows real signs of insecurity. Where's the next fight for him?

Suppose there's always another Whyte fight. Potentially Dubois too. And not sure it's the abuse, he got a heroes welcome in Saudi, he's still universally liked by the majority of boxing casuals. It's only a vocal minority who see a 'bodybuilder' getting beat by a midget.

Was listening to the 5Live Boxing Pod from immediately after his defeat. They interviewed Hearn in the aftermath and he was saying AJ hasn’t been active enough and hasn’t fought enough nobodies. He basically said the plan would be to have him rebuild the confidence by knocking some people out easily. I suppose the actual quality of the fighters on AJ’s CV is up for debate isn’t it.

Only lad he’s beat is Parker, and he’s shit. Klistchko was washed, and he battered him more than Putin has done Ukraine, Dillian Whyte is Dillian Whyte, decent but ALWAYS loses to anyone in that top tier HW bracket. I’d throw him in against Dubois. That’s a very solid domestic dust up. He wins it too. Then go for an international fight, not sure who, maybe Hrgovic who’s a mandatory, then Whyte (again), Joyce and Wilder. Solid 5 fights, 4 he probably wins. I think Wilder sends him to the shadow realm.
