Said it 1000 times before. AJ folds Fury, especially this version.

Said it 1000 times before. AJ folds Fury, especially this version. I think people have gotten very excited over these gimmick fights. The last time we saw AJ against real opposition, Usyk made him look bang average. Twice. Think we really need to see how Fury gets on against that opposition now. That’ll give us a real indication of what he’s got left. What we know about Fury traditionally is that he tends to fight to the ability of his opponent. He had a couple of really uninspired performances prior to turning up and shocking the world against Wilder the first time. He then went away and really struggled against Wallin before coming back and putting on one of, if not the, best Brits abroad performances ever in boxing against Wilder the second time. What I do like is that it makes Fury vs Joshua a big prospective fight again. It looked dead in the water while Joshua was on his way down and Fury was top of the shop.

Also on Ngannou, I think there’s been a lot said and written by people who have never seen him fight.
You never know what you’re going to get with him. He’s capable of flattening Stipe Miocic, but he’s also put on some of the worst heavyweight fights in history, throwing three punches in 15mins. He’s not a prodigy. He’s almost the Wilder of MMA in some respects. Big knockout power, very little technique to speak of.
He’ll go and spark out Parker or someone with one punch next, then lose on points to Dubois.
For real though, I hope he’s ok, because that was a fuck of a punch he took and there wasn’t much in the way of him protecting himself. Shades of his KO of Stipe.

I like Ngannou, he's a dangerous fighter but he should have had a few fights before going into this one. He deservedly beat Fury but tonight was a different level altogether. I've always rated AJ over Fury so this fight has no real impact on that. For me if it ever happens I hope he knocks Fury out. Not overly keen on either but Fury is just a massive, insufferable dickhead. The only one worthy of beating him to that title is his old man.

Not overly keen on either but Fury is just a massive, insufferable dickhead. The only one worthy of beating him to that title is his old man. Ngannou’s in his late 30’s, talked about being broke after his last UFC fight and owed Usman £200k. His motivation is purely money and to be fair to him he’s probably made the thick end of £50m quid from these two fights. When you’ve been offered that sort of payday, a couple of tune-up fights which may only serve to expose you probably don’t sound that appealing. The talk of him being a contender in this heavyweight division after fighting a half-arsed Tyson Fury was daft. He’s done well against Fury and ridden the wave. Think when he recovers a bit and gets some clarity, he won’t regret too much. Hopefully he’s learnt to manage his money better.
