If you haven't watched the Tyson/Paul fight save yourself the time, it was an embarrassment to the sport of Boxing. This guy cannot keep going around making a mockery of this sport by saying "he is the face of the sport" and challenging fighters that have worked their entire lives to be at the pinnacle of their weight classes when he has not fought one boxer that is close to his age and ranked in the top 20 of that weight class. Even at 58 Tyson showed Paul isn't close to the level that is needed by exposing him with speed and combos.... I think the 2x he did it he realized he needed to chill and stopped punching.
I respect his ability to promote dog shit fights like this because 74k at Cowboys stadium to watch rigged fight between a 58yr old Tyson fight a youtuber is impressive.
Supposedly Artur Beterbiev is willing to give him a shot at his Undisputed Light Heavyweight Title, which I highly doubt he will take if true.

Yeah it was an embarrassment.
Pretty clearly fixed too, Tyson in sparing was hitting the pads with some real power, in the ring he just plodded along and through pretty much nothing.
There were a couple of chances each too where the other guy stumbled and was there to be hit, and nothing, they just pulled back and threw nothing. Utter fake shambles.

You can identify a real idiot by pointing at whoever paid money to watch this live or on PPV. Technically there are a lot of idiots then as it was on Netflix, but generally I agree when it comes to paying for this type of boxing. Although I will add the Katie Taylor/Serrano fight before it was a quality one. What amazes me is the uproar the came afterwards of the way the fight went. It was never going any other way. Seeing Jake Paul getting mangled by Mike Tyson was a pipe dream. It was a nice payday for a retired fighter that should never have been allowed to fight in the first place. They need to stop pushing this bullshit youtuber boxing aswell. It makes a mockery of the sport. Now you have dickheads like Tony Bellew and Carl Froch seemingly desperate to be the next ones to be called out. Needs to be fucked off altogether. |

Sounds like the ring judges didn't take into account that the damage on Serrano was due to the headbutts not Taylor actually landing solid shots. |
