One of the most over rated over hyped wankers we have ever signed. over hyped sure, but over rated? I don't think so. He's massively over-rated. He's talked about like one of the premium footballers of his generation. Do you see Messi have one good game in 10 and spend the rest of the time fannying on and doing fuck all? Ronaldo? God people slag Rooney off and say he was over-rated, at least even if playing poorly he still worked his arse off for the team, put effort in and looked like he actually gave a shit. He's the single most over-rated player I've seen in my 43 years on this planet. "I might play well. If I can be arsed. And if the team is absolutely, perfectly set up to accommodate me and me only. And I'm not running. Or trying. Though I will try to do a fancy spin, drag back thing inside my own box when we're defending".

On the basis that he's Bobbins, only when it suits.. newbie here. united fan from baku. been reading the forum for ages. can anybody explain to me what the is to 'bobbins' is? from reading threads, i can see this being posted on some occasions but i don't have any idea what the of it is. is it some code word or something within the confines of this forum, between members?think bobbins is of a manc slang reference to being shit, but i'm not sure. Of all things your first post could've been about, you picked that... That's a bit Bobbins.

Article in the Mirror saying Carrick was angry at Pogba for high fiving team mates in training after Mourinho’s sacking in 2018.
If true it presses home even further what a twat Pogba is.

Who cares? Talking about something from 2018, just to give Carrick a little giddy up. He should've been sacked with Jose.

We should have sacked Pogba and kept Jose. Jose wanted to fuck off Pogba and Martial, but we kept them instead. TBF, Martial at the time still had unlimited potential. Jose's been proven right in hindsight, but consensus here, swapping Martial for Perisic would've been dog-shit business. Pogba has always been a square peg in a round hole at this club.

I think that's debatable. For me, that was the time I was starting to get done with the guy. Consensus here was completely skewed towards Martial but the cracks had begun to show for me about his application. Perisic wasn't the answer, but Martial wasn't either. To be fair you're right about Pogba, he has been played completely wrong here. Never ever liked him as a traditional CM - almost as if people at the club never actually saw how he operated at Juventus or with France and just hoped he'd magically change the way he played. I still want him out because of his lack of effort, professionalism and his agent. I couldn't care anymore about the circus that he brings with him.

Martial had a dynamite half season under José before he was pushed out by the arrival of Sanchez. But he had to work hard to get into the team under José. We were often playing dull as fuck football and then Martial would liven it up from the bench. Aside from his potential, that’s why we were behind Martial at the time. In that moment, in that season, José was wrong about Martial. We were absolute dog shit after Sanchez usurped him. Long term, it’s fair to say it’s not worked out for him. There’s still a good career in football there for him though, just maybe at a club where he’s the top dog.
