Does that make it 63 goals in 62 games? Fucking hell, you never get more than 1 goal-per-game ratio's these days. The guys unbelievable.

If Mourinho is seriously considering joining us when Fergie retires, I hope he puts pressure on Ronaldo to come with him. COme back home Ronaldo, finish your career enhancing the already glorious history you have with us.

To be fair, I read a stat that said Messi has 70 goals in his last 64 as well.

Imagine only if Ronaldo got to Barcelona, the ways that Xavi and Iniesta feed the balls to the players, Ronaldo would seriously have 2 goals per game, every game, in Real, Ronaldo is all alone. Ozil makes contribution from time to time, Di Maria, same problem Nani had last season, decision making, Kaka, well, he's back but Ronaldo set a goal for him last night. Now seriously, imagine Ronaldo in Barca, there we would see shitload of goals.

Ronnie is far to direct, he doesn't like to play 149 passes before shooting. He is ridiculously good.

The best player we've had in my lifetime, and up there with the best we've ever had. I was born in 84, in case anyone wants to start a debate.

As much as I'd love him to come back, why would he when Spanish teams are so shit that he's disappointed when he doesn't get a hat-trick every game. His legacy is only being enhanced by his time in Spain. I imagine he's gonna have a scoring record of something like 450 games 640 goals by the time he's done in Spain.
Then again, how much pleasure can you really take in steam-rollering teams every week?

Loads and loads if you're Ronaldo, because it's all about him.
Not that that's a bad thing. I think he's the best player I have ever seen play and would have him back in less than a heartbeat.
Unfortunately, I think that being paid huge amounts of money to steamroll crap teams every week is right up his street.

Watched the Real game last night, whenever Ronaldo got ball, there were 3 players surrounding him, reminded me of United days, boy do I miss him. Anyways, he scored yet another goal, Ozil set him up, he could have scored more, but Athletico Madrid defense was so tight, and he had some really bad misses.

He's phenomenal, but I don't think anything he is doing now compares to his achievements at United, when he scored 42 goals in a season in a league that is actually strong. La Liga is a joke.

I think people need to look at messi and ronaldos goal scoring ratio with a big batch of reality in mind. La Liga is a glorified spl in my opinion. Teams don't know how to defend properly, playing sucide offside traps, yes technically it is a great league but good defending is as big a part of the game as good attacking play, playing an offside trap isn't good defending its just a lazy. Madrid and barcelona have all the best players in the league, Messi is a truly great player in my opinion because in big games he does it and when the el classico comes he performs to his best, when the el classico comes and ronaldos not up against monkeys he goes missing. Ronaldo was a great player for us but he plays for madrid and i hate the bastards, so i really couldn't give a fuck about him anymore. Used us as a stepping stone to madrid. Fergie and united turned ronaldo from a one trick show pony into the best player in the world, alot of clubs would of turfed him out on his ass but when we asked for a bit of loyality from him he buggered off.

I don't think he used us, we got what we wanted out of him and more. He singled handedly dragged us through seasons, always giving a hundred percent on the pitch. I admire the man because of the way he finished his career at O.T, until the last game he gave his all for us. I hold one thing against him and that's not staying with us a while longer maybe a two or three season more. He moved way to early in his career for me, he was a joy to watch certainly the best player I have ever seen live and I feel privileged to have seen him play week in week out.
A lot of people have talked about a possible return later in his career, I don't think this would be a good idea. His time at O.T has been and gone I can now only look at him and admire his play and also think to myself what a bunch or pricks Madrid are.
Johnboy is right when he says United changed Ronaldo from being a one trick pony into the best player in the world.
Wouldn't it be nice if he was like Scholes and Giggs finishing there careers at the club
