I lost a bit of interest when Danielson got injured, the rumoured idea of him vs Nigel was very appealing to me. Still excited about it though. As much as anything the pure scope and ambition of it is brilliant. I literally can’t even imagine it. It’s my partner’s birthday that day which prevented me getting a ticket and will prevent me watching live sadly. Nigel's never wrestling again. If he was gonna, he would've done it before now. Particularly when he was in the Fed. What’s the official reasoning for it? He denied it was due to concussions a few years ago but Bryan said it was concussions in his book. I know he had that shoulder injury prior to the TNA run and also hepatitis B (which he says he’d cleared himself of in his doc). But yeah, probably a pipe dream. I love his commentary but it’s such a shame we never got to see more/any of him on the big stage.

Very very sad. Bray was just 36.

Truly dreadful. The Funker obviously old and had lived a life, but what a tragedy Bray is.

My Insta was all my mates/acquaintances going to All In. Had me thinking, 'Huh, maybe should've gone to that thing'.
Oh well!

Yep, buzzing for it, got a group of four going. How was it mate? Great fun. It felt like a spectacle and several matches were top tier. I think they tried a little too hard to get everyone on the card - Kenny and Hangman lost out as a result of this IMO - but overall it was an absolute blast, will definitely go again next year. My wife also got us on four different wrestlers’ instagram stories (Orange Cassidy, Danhausen, Matt and Nick Jackson) which was impressive.

Thought they did an amazing job showing the audience at home how big the stadium is. WWE just go “yeah we’re in this massive venue”, whereas AEW used so many shots of the stadium to show a mostly American audience the scale of the venue. Made it feel like a proper moment in wrestling history. Think I’d have instinctively whipped my knob out when Sting’s Metallica music hit had I been there. Buzzing that he’s had this success late in his career. If they’re running Wembley at this time every year, it’s always going to coincide with my partner’s birthday. Might have to take her to the West End next year in exchange for her suffering several hours of grappling with me.

Loved the Rumble, always such a fun event. Right person won both matches.

Loved the Rumble, always such a fun event. Right person won both matches. Watched it last night with mates as is tradition. Thought the Punk and Cody bit was well done. I expect Punk will end up facing Rollins, but it could already be well set up for him to win the Rumble next year (if he can last that long without trying to batter a dweeb). There was no real need for him to win it straight out of the gate and he probably recognises that, having had his big moment pinched off him before. Big commitment to Cody having him win back to back years. They’re in a really hot period at the minute in terms of the actual product. Unfortunately, it was still quite hard to watch it all without thinking of the total pieces of shit they’ve got working behind the scenes.

Enjoyed the Rumble, thought it was a great watch.
Cody makes sense with all the “Finish my Story” stuff but confused as to where it leaves Dwayne. Assumed with his “head of the table” comment on Raw a few weeks ago that he’d be facing Reigns at Wrestlemania.

Maybe he’s seen the Vince stuff and thought, fuck taking my brand anywhere near that right now.
