Watched both games today, Just what has Park done to his hair, good goal mind. Greece put in a terrible performance. In the other match Nigeria where lucky for it to only be 1-0 and Higuan should have scored twice. Watched both games too and I was impressed with South Korea and wasn't that impressed with Argentina because should they play against top teams like they did, then they cannot afford to miss chances like they did today against what was, a very ineffective Nigerian team. I think the haircut that Park has, really has changed his game. It is like the reverse Sampson.....

Argentina were less than impressive and am pretty sure, they will get comprehensively beaten by teams like Spain or Brazil.. Typical Messi.. Looks a real threat when tackling is non existent and defenders don't bother closing him down..
Anyone who watched the Confed cup final last year will know that USA are no pushovers.. With a Lampard- Gerrard central midfield pairing, there could even be an upset... This one should be a cracking contest and I hope Rooney has a great game.

Hopefully Rooney has a good game, but it won't be easy against the Americans.

Gerrard and Lampard are, as the lads on RTE were saying, are both finishers and not playmakers, you need to start to finish so it doesn't work when they play together.
Anyone here staunchly supporting Ingurland?

Steven Gerrard scores and Oh Brittania rang out just there, nice tune as a piece of music but such Ingurland crap to sing, and all around the ground are the St.Georges crosses with the typical names on them.
I kind of thought I wanted England to do well earlier but now..
EDIT: So the knock out blow would be sweeter down the line once the hopes are up

Great opening for England there, well blocked by the US defender in the end, good last ditch stuff. 3-0 in the end I'd say.

How is Heskey good enough for England, but Andy Cole never was??

hahahaah....good ol Rob Green. How is he better than Foster again?
Or was it the fact that he played aload of games this season that got him there? Shows that policy works....
