Not really SET. My guess he didn't have an agent at all so Mendes was ideal for that. I just can't see why we would do something that looked so obvious...there are a lot of opportunities to pay Mendes...like the next transfer? So what I am saying is why pay him twice... can't we just accept that Bebe, like Obertan and a few others was a gamble that hasn't (so far) come off?

he did have agent which makes it even dodgier - simply sacked him.

Also De Gea was on mendes books....lovely. We had a free run at him the summer later.
