I've been on the beer for 18 hours and I've just seen this shit. After seeing what I've done, I've seen it on portable. Got a decent replay of the whole thing?

Ridiculous to jump up 2 weight divisions and expect good things to happen. I was thinking the same. What a punk . His pre fight conference was such bullshit . Downright disrespectful and obviously underestimated the fact that he is two weight classes below his opponent. Diaz took all that he could throw at him and absolutely put him in his place.

In all fairness I don't remember much of it lol. Was out until half 5 so amazed I managed to type reasonably ok. Must admit on one hand I'm shocked and on the other I'm not at all. His ego caught up with him jumping up too many weights. He'll learn from this but given the shit he's dished out he's going to have to learn to take it. Still got huge respect for him, didn't think much of him a few months ago but he's earnt the respect, win ,draw or lose. He's made the UFC exciting again can't hold it against him for that.

Thers no harm jumping weight classes but the key to is a slow evolution of the increase in weight classes.. have a few at lightweight first, then move on to welter.. its ok hitting those bigger guys with bombs.. but wen they get on top you different story all together.. that's wen the big problems start to come into play

He's a crowd pleaser and a fighter that draws in the money more than any other fighter, he can pretty much do as he likes. Gutted he lost. But he's still a great fighter, just needs to realsie that he doesn't need to have all his eggs in one basket all at once.

Just living the dream Not sure what it was mate but it certainly doesn't feel like a dream atm . Reminds me if Hatton a few years ago, instead of having a few fights St a higher weight he went straight for mayweather, had he had a few fights I hnesrly this k he'd have beaten him but just like this, he tried too hard, too quickly. He'll come back stronger though. All the best fighters do.

UFC: Conor McGregor and Holly Holm suffer surprise defeats in Las Vegas1 hour ago - Sport Conor McGregor was scheduled to fight Rafael dos Anjos, but the Brazilian pulled out through injuryUFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor suffered a shock defeat as Nate Diaz won their welterweight fight in Las Vegas.
American Diaz, 30, forced the Irishman to submit in the second round - his first defeat since 2010.
McGregor, 27, said: "I'll face it like a man, like a champion. I'll come back and do it again."
In another surprise, women's bantamweight champion Holly Holm lost in the fifth round to Miesha Tate.
Holm, 34, stunned the mixed martial arts world by knocking out the previously undefeated Ronda Rousey to take the title in November.
But the former boxer, who had won all 10 of her previous UFC fights, was choked unconscious by fellow American Tate, 29.
"She went out like a champion," said Tate, who has won her past five bouts. "I have so much respect for this woman." Holly Holm said this week there was 'a lot weighing on this fight' McGregor, meanwhile, had been denied the chance to become the first UFC fighter to hold two world titles at the same time when Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos pulled out of a fight because of injury last month.
The Irishman landed heavy shots in round one, opening up a cut over Diaz's right eye.
He tried to finish the contest, only for Diaz to catch him with a punch in the second round after which he never regained the initiative.
Diaz eventually got behind McGregor to apply a choke hold that forced him to submit.
McGregor said: "I'm humble in victory or defeat. I took a chance to move up a weight and it didn't work.
"I have a lot of respect for Nate. He came in at short notice. He was efficient. I was not."www.bbc.co.uk/sport/35738958

McGregor is a fraud. Showboating wanker who is all talk and can't back it up when put against a real opponent. All these fights he has won quickly or impressively have been against short notice replacements when the genuine fighters 'dropped out'. Delighted he lost. Hope it was crushing.

You are insanely wrong. Go and do your research on Jose Aldo and then tell me he wasn't a real opponent. Aldo was recognised as the pound for pound best fighter on the planet as recently as a year ago and undefeated in 10 years. The hype train went mad because he was as legit as they come and McGregor beat him in 13 seconds. Yeah he's a showboat - but that real result against one of the best champions in MMA history made him legit.
