I don't think Gane had anything more than a puncher's chance so it shouldn't be surprising at all. Jones is a cunt but his talent is unmatched in UFC history.

Didn’t expect it to be that easy. I thought he might have issues if the fight was on the feet.

Jones was obviously going to be the better grappler, but expected Gane to offer more by way of a defence. For all the talk of Gane’s speed, Jones ducked his shot comfortably before the takedown. Suppose it’s all just relative and there’s simply no way Gane could be as fast as the lads Jones has been beating for over a decade.

Similar to Jones, Stipe has had a lengthy layoff, however he was brutally KO'd before that and is the much older fighter. You'd imagine there'll be considerably more resistance put up in that fight though.

Be very interesting to see if Ngannou comes back to UFC if Jones beats Stipe. Dana said he'd never come back but money talks and that would be a mega fight for UFC

Dana White would probably sell his son if it meant more money for UFC.

Jones basically laid waste to an entire division tonight. Made an absolute mockery of it.

I doubt Ngannou lasts 5 rounds against him either.

If anything Jones is going to be even more dominant in HW, I dont see anyone challenging him now with ngannou gone.

Pavlavich maybe if he has an excellent takedown defense, but against jones in this form its unlikely

Not interested in Jon vs Stipe at all, It will be an one sided beat down by Jon. Right now there is no real challenge for Jon in the heavy weight division, everyone has only a puncher's chance really.

On his trajectory he could be up there to at least have a title shot. Not saying he would beat Jones but I think he’d do better than Gane. Also think he would beat Gane
