3 points, 4 assists and 9 rebounds in 29 minutes. Not spectacular, but he was guarded by Beverley (one of the best defenders in the league). Could've had more assists but everyone was missing easy shots and lay-ups. The kid has a lot of growing up to do . A LOT. He has to become a lot smarter. This isn't college basketball, like Chuck said in the post game show - all that daddy stuff ain't gonna help you son, these be some grown ass men.

Great performance by Lonzo today. Excellent response from the last game.
It's only the Suns though so take it with a pinch of salt.

Man, that was incredible. Coming back fron a 10 points deficit in the 4th quarter and defending like that against Wall and Beal is huge for such a young team. They won't play like that every night, but games like this one give me confidence that they're on the right track.

Hell yes, been a Chicago Bears and Cubs fan for entire life, (autographed pics from Ed O, Butkus, Sayers show that) you'll never go through that with LA but IMO gonna be while before anyone starts whipping on Golden State. One hell of an array of talent, and a good organization, they will be around for a while. Course, anytime team pulls it together to make that kinda comeback, doesn't matter who they are, it ROCKS to see it happen. I am a piss poor Basketball player, hell of a stop and pop shooter, an I'll bang inside, but the speed and talent to play at any kind of high level? Not there, but have played on court with players that were exceptional. Military is full of kids with tremendous talent but lacking the character to play at a high level. I freeking love the game, always have.

Been reading about lots of NBA players that grew up in military towns because of their parents and were actually playing against them as kids and that's how they developed their game. Ray Allen is one of them.

There is a ton of talent, but it takes special character to take it to highest level. I played with a guy that showed up for games with a beer in his hands and averaged around 45 points per game for our base team. Never have seen anyone that was a purer jump shooter, Stan Woodard, he never seemed to miss and was magic with the ball. No doubt in my mind he could have played NBA ball. Only player I've ever seen like him was Pete Marivich in terms of his shooting from anywhere on the damn court. Was always the army teams though that kicked hell out of us. I am 6' 2" an played in the box, and when we would play an army team I'd be looking up and taking flushed balls in the snout coming down at me, swear I was looking at the bottom of some of those guy's shoes. One kid I played with, Ronnie Hightower, got out and ended up going to Georgetown and playing for John Thompson, was on Army team from Ft Shafter, and absolutely freekin killed me every time we played. Left Spaulding tatoo's on my forehead when ball got flushed with me trying to do something in the paint about it. Don't know if he made it to NBA or not, but was one hell of a player and a good man or he wouldn't have been a Hoya.

Youngest player in history to record a triple double. You could say he "fucked around and got a triple double".
Seriously though, after 4 wank performances this was good to watch. He needs to be more aggressive and take the games by the scruff of the neck.

That boi Lonzo at it again . Second triple . Only rookie along with Ben Simmons to get multiple triple doubles in their rookie seasons.
Last Laker to do so was Magic.

I know his shot isn't falling yet and he's been a bit absent in some games, but ffs, he's a 20 year old rookie with 17 NBA games. He is a way better defender than I thought he would be and he just makes everyone better. If he starts making those shots, he will be incredible.

great game between the lakers and warriors last night. was not expecting the lakers to stand a chance but they managed to get into overtime. warriors won in the end but credit to the lakers. there is a slight hope emerging that they could really make it to the play offs this season.
