So, I'm gonna hit the Hawks vs Magic game in March.
What's good etiquette for a basketball game? Can I call someone a wimp for going down under a shoulder challenge? Can I whoop and holla? Most importantly, can I drink a beer at my seat?

Used to love shootin' hoops before the back decided against it. How was the game? It was a good game, not quite as into it as I hoped I'd get, but it was good atmosphere and beer was pretty cheap, and being allowed to take it to my seat like a responsible adult was refreshing. |

I played a bit of hoops in my younger days. Played for my school, we came second in the one competition we actually took part in. I got a medal and everything. Never hit the fadeaway though, was always more of a tear drop kinda guy.

I've never managed a fadeaway and I've never played in a competative match for medals and such. I'd love to when I'm fit though. My prized possession is my purple and yellow basketball which is unfortunately gathering dust at the moment  . |

I'm about 6'1. So small, for basketball. I was tiny in school, didn't start growing until I was about 16, so the tear drop was a good shot for me. Basically anyone I played against was bigger than I was! Probably couldn't hit it for squat now though, and that's with my surgically perfected eyesight!
I loved B-ball when I was younger, had a hoop and board on the side of my house and a red, white and blue basketball I got in America on holiday. Grew up in the Air Jordan era, so I think I liked it because I liked MJ. Haven't played the game in years, although funny enough I very, very, briefly was messing about last night when I went to pay my five aside fees. We play in the school sports hall that has hoops and the storeroom door was open. All those basketballs, would have been rude not to.
