I dunno man. Getting Buss outta there is a good idea but Kupchak ? Not so sure on that one. He's done well all things considered. Magic has been out of the NBA for a long time. Hope it doesn't end up like Vlade fucking Divac at the Kings. I know, I'm excited but a bit scared at the same time. I really wanted Buss to fuck off but Mitch was a bit surprising. He had a good spell and did well in the draft. Really don't know what to expect. Hope it's going to be a fresh start and the Lakers will be back where they belong. It's been like United in the last 3 years.

For the last 3 years it has been awesome to watch the dubs play some scintillating basketball, but I so badly want the Lakers back on top.

Shaq gets his statue outside Staples. Well deserved! Probably the most dominant centre the league has ever seen. Bonus:

westbrook is unbelievable this season. he really broke oscar robertson`s record of most triple doubles in a season that lasted since the 61/62 season. on top of that in the same game he broke the record, he won it for oklahoma with a 3 point buzzer beater. harden or westbrook for mvp? its really a tough one this year

Impossible to separate the two.

This has been quite the argument amongst my friends.
A lot of people say MVP should come down to the best record. If that is the case then Kawhi Leonard should get it. I wouldve put Durant there but hes out 6 weeks and it may be unfair. Harden second, LeBron third.
If it comes down to being the best damn player in the league, in my opinion it HAS to go to Westbrook. Harden in second. Westbrook has a poorer roster around him. His clutch play has been OUTSTANDING. Both men are utterly playing out of their skin. Westbrook leads scoring and is averaging a triple double (mental!) Harden second in scoring and leads assists.
Genuinely difficult decision though so I won't be angry if Harden gets it!

Impossible to separate the two. No . No . No . No . It is very much possible to separate the two. Russell Westbrook is the MVP. 42 triples, avg triple while TOPPING scoring. Clutch as fuck. There's no argument . He is the MVP.

It's only thanks to him they're in the playoffs. Rockets are still stacked as a roster. They would make playoffs but lower in the rankings. Their coach is also miles better. And like you said, if you want to reward a winning team , give it to Kawhi, not fucking Harden . Kawhi leads his team offensively and defensively and they're second seed. MVP is an individual award not a team award. Westbrook is that individual.

Finally ! Playoff time is upon us ! OKC vs Rockets and Clippers - Jazz are the stand out fixtures in the first round (Gordon Hayward is fast becoming one of my favorite players in the league and Gobert is just a monster) although Cavs-Pacers has some potential too. I expect PG to go beast mode but if his supporting cast doesn't turn up then its no use.
Excited.

Wow. What a great first round so far. Pacers and PG pushed the Cavs all the way and the Jazz best the Clippers away from home even with Gobert getting injured 17 seconds in !! Amazing. Giannis and the Bucks thoroughly smashed the Raptors too. I love playoff season. Even Champions League football fails to match the intensity of playoff basketball at times.

Watched that Cavs game, seems indicative of their season so far. The shooting in the last 5 minutes was atrocious and nearly cost them. Against a better team it will obviously.
Delighted to see the Bulls nick a win. Hasn't been easy for them lately.

Delighted to see the Bulls nick a win. Hasn't been easy for them lately. The Bulls are a real darkhorse. Playoff seasoned vets and physically more than a match for the Celtics. That's why Playoff basketball is amazing. You start from 0-0 after 82 games. Have to say, in spite of his personal tragedy, Isaiah was amazing. The lad was in tears in the start but he still had a great game. Cavs, well , you summed it up . Kyrie and Love are asleep.

Both Clippers and Celtics lost at home. Couldn't have asked for something better. Hope they're eliminated in the first round. Watched Golden State vs. Portland last night, they were incredible for 3 quarters and if Nurkic wouldn't have been injured, I really think they could have got away with the win. Lillard and CJ McCollum are amazing.

It's deceptive, because I think golden state didn't play at full tilt either. They played with some in reserve. They're portioning their energy reserves for the bigger tests I think. They always had enough to beat Portland. This will be a 4-0.
