Last night confirmed for me that although Manning is a great QB I would still rather have Tom Brady in my corner. Manning has had lots of offensive weapons his whole career but has just struggled to get it done in the playoffs/SB. A lot of credit goes to Seattle however that being said Manning was didn't show up last night and he made some strange throws when he was under the gun.

He shouts that at least 30 times a game! You'll be hospitalised. Think it'll be tight, hope we can sneak it. Go knows I need something to cheer me up in the sports world. What got you following the Broncos? Forgot to answer this Smithy. Basically there was a big push to make the game popular in Ireland and the Uk in the 80s, channel 4 started showing it on Sundays. I got into it and Elway was just a fantastic player, even though he was pretty much doing it on his own. That was the year of The Drive. Followed them closely ever since, lots of highs, more lows. I'm glad they're back but the need to get into the Super Bowl next year to put Sunday to rest. They are way better than that. They play the Seahawks and niners next year in the regular season and I think that will help. And there are a lot of top players due back from injury.

I think that Seattle will do what New England couldn't and that is put pressure on Manning. When you get to Manning he tends to start makes mistakes and Seattle have the pass defense to capitalise from any mistakes. 100% correct. Seattle's pass rush won them the game. Manning was never comfortable.

I was reading though it's unlikely that they are going to be able to keep both Decker and Welker.

Meant to post about that. The response to Sam's coming out has been very positive and really shows the NFL is a very good light. His college coach is fantastic too, and seems to have inspired a wonderful attitude in his players who rallied around Sam.
The only thing is that Sam is just a good player, not great. He's in between positions so may not have a tremendous impact as a player, there were doubts about him before this story. One commentator said 'I just wish he was better, just wish he was a top ten pick.' Still, fair play to the guy.

Yeah, everything I've seen about the lad says he isn't top, top, pick.
And by the way, I don't remember if I've posted it before but seeing Wes Welker in a Denver jersey instead of a Patriots one is painful for me. Terrific WR.

He's a cracking player, brave as anything.

A very strange thing happened yesterday. A team I support had a glaring need so went out and fixed it at the very earliest opportunity.
What is this wizardry?

For $ 12 million, I'll admit I am over the freaking moon with Revis. Unreal signing, hope it shows we're willing to spend some money and give Brady the support for his last couple of (hopefully!) glory years.

Broncos and Patriots are weapons piling and seem set to go at it again for the AFC championship. The signing of Ward at safety is huge for us. He's a nasty man and a big hitter.
Wish the bloody season was starting soon!

Season starts proper on Sunday afternoon. Seatte and Green bay kicked it off late on Thursday night, didnt watch it live but saw the highlights and I have to say Seattle look like they could easily go back to back this year.
My top 3 team to watch are.
1. Seattle for obvious reasons. 2. The Patriots always find a way to win and with the additions in the defence paticulary Revis Island, Gronk coming back and Brady just being Brady I think they will be a force this year. 3. The bengals for me are my sneaky pick. Not many people are talking about them but they showed signs last year that they could be an emerging team and with Dalton as QB I think they could make a run deep into the playoffs.
Any fans on here? Who is your team? Who do you think can make the superbowl this year?
