This multiverse arc is absolutely not as engaging as Thanos and the Gauntlet. Kang was shown in the Loki series and the multiverse was explored in Dr Strange and the premise and the big bad are supremely dull. Another problem is killing off/retiring virtually all of the interesting original characters was always going to strain interest. Agreed. Dr Strange just doesn't interest me as much as Stark or Rodgers did. Thor is carrying these guys on his back at the moment.

Nah, Shang Chi was brilliant. The tv shows have been good to great too.

New Black Panther trailer was so good. Namor!
Marvel Phase 5 and 6 also announced, ending with Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. Plus a John Krasinski F4.
I think Phase 4 will have very little bearing towards the climax of the Multiverse Saga.
I think the Olympian pantheon will have a significant impact on this saga. First Zeus in Thor, now Namor in BP who is heavily linked to Poseidon.

Of all the shows from my childhood to get made into a film in 2022, Chip 'n Dale would've been low on the list of preferences, but it's actually really good. Had low expectations, and I was sceptical about where the film was going when it became obvious how much they were trying to channel Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but they did a great job with it. Anyone else who was a kid in the '80s will probably get some enjoyment out of it.

Prey, the Predator prequel, is really outstanding. Just watched it. Superb movie. Some nice nods to the original film. I like the direction it took. And Amber Midthunder is quite the lady!

Into the Deep is one of the worst films I've seen in a long time. Genuinely terrible. For the plot to work, every single one of the characters needs to be a weapons grade idiot.

Currently watching Prey on my ‘River ‘ Stick. Mightily impressed by its stripped down ,no bells and whistles approach. Highly recommended! Almost as good as the original film-which I may watch after this, for the eleventy billionth time! ‘I’m a goddamn sexual Tyranasuarrus ‘ one of my favourite lines in a movie, EVER!

They're making National Treasure 3. The first two are amongst my favourite guilty pleasure films.
