My word, The Beekeeper...
You need to be lobotomized to watch it. Statham was good in Lock stock and Snatch. Now, he just plays the same character in every film. Guess it saves time learning scripts.

Watched the Roadhouse remake on Prime last night, pretty good for what it is to be fair, enjoyed it. Watched it last night. I can only imagine Woodward has got a job in Hollywood as I can't imagine anyone else on Earth who would make as bad a decision as casting Conor McGregor. Movie was ok until he came into it, one of the all time awful performances.

I’ve just come back from New York and he was plastered all over Times Square.

Guessing it was more a marketing strategy casting him than anything else. I’ve just come back from New York and he was plastered all over Times Square. NY is fucking ace. Highlights for you? Nowhere on earth like it. The tone changes every two blocks, absolutely amazing. Day 2 I’ve never known rain like it. It was raining sideways. Did a lot of the indoors stuff, museums etc, but had ground to make up on day 3. Walked from near Macy’s where we stayed, down through NOHO/SOHO etc, did the financial district, all of the 9/11 stuff (amazing what they’ve done with that area), boat out to statue of Lib & Ellis Island, walked Brooklyn Bridge, then up via Ghostbusters HQ (got to keep it relevant to the thread), Greenwich Village (brilliant), onto the High Line, pit-stop at Chelsea Market, then home. Did 30+km. Following birth of my boy and wedding it will take some beating in terms of best days of my life. It’s scary too in equal measure. We got off the High Line that day, which is this beautiful old elevated railway line, as picturesque as you like, came down the steps and there’s a homeless chap pushing a trolley with one hand, pistol in the other. You buzz off the oddities you come across though. Class.

I saw a lady putting small roses in the names of people's names etched into the eternal falls, turns out she does it for the birthdays. Brought a tear to my eye. I also took a picture of a random fire house that had a ladder and engine in house. Turns out, they lost the most fire fighters that day. It's crazy how much stuff you recognise though. I would love to go back one day.

I guess every generation will have different things they recognise etc.

Watched Late Night With The Devil last week. 8/10. Really good indie horror flick, and at a quick 90 mins, go see it.
Just back from watching Civil War now. Brilliant, 9/10. It's an intense watch, I'll not go into anything too much, but definitely recommend it.

Late as usual but finally watched Oppenheimer and The Banshees of Inisherin the last 2 nights.
Completely different in scale but found both an equally brilliant watch.

Watched ‘The Outfit’ on Netflix last night.
It’s a decent film and must have cost bugger all to film as they never moved out of the Tailors shop.
