Just watched Wakanda forever, fuck me what a shit movie. Couldn’t wait till it ended From the highs of the Infinity Gauntlet saga , Marvel is scraping the lowest of lows with this current phase. Each and every single movie out till now has been garbage, barring Spider-Man which was decent.

Hoping they'll redeem themselves with GOTG3 because Wakanda forever was utterly garbage. Thought it was a crossover with Avatar at one point. Thought the main characters were weak as piss aswell.

I was very much done once that last phase ended. Is it even the money-making machine it was before at this point? How are these movies performing at the box office, outside of established brands like Spider-Man?

Ah I haven’t seen that one. Maybe I’ll catch it on Disney+. Worth a watch. Wasn't expecting a lot from it as I'd never heard of the character before. But was a good watch. One of the better ones from phase 4.

Disney just stream it on there own platform, so box office is abit irrelevant. The problem I have with these movies is that they suck up all the resources and talent in Hollywood. Getting anything else made at such scale is a mammoth task these days.

Is there not a delay between cinema release and it landing on Disney+? Just a few weeks. Fair play. I remember there being a stink kicked up from Scarlett Johansson over her flick being moved too quickly to streaming services. It impacted her bottom line as her contract had box-office based incentives in it. Didn’t think they’d be so quick to shift them in future, but there you go.

Money talks, she should have read the small print more carefully.

TBF Black Widow got delayed coz 'Rona, then Disney decided to do a universal release date, for a film, based on a character who's dead. And at the time a Thunderbolts movie wasn't pencilled in, either.
