Just watched The Wrestler for the 1st time, wasn't sure It'd be my thing but I enjoyed it. Mickey Rouke really does play a good part (though he looks simply horrendous these days)

Massive kudos to those who recommended The Guard. The heavy accents were a little hard to understand at first but they soon became clear. Proper belly laughs alongside a strong warm main story throughout. Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle were wonderful on screen together. The Disneyland/Goofy scene had me in stitches.

Just had the huge misfortune of watching the vanishing on 7th street. Good idea for a movie, everyone in town vanishes during a powercut of only a few seconds, leaving their clothes behind, save for 4 people. I won't go into detail as don't wanna spoil anything, but it is just poor, really really poor. Save yourselves people, it's too late for me, I've wasted an hour and a half of my life, you don't have to do the same!

The same can be said for Dead Snow, stay away.
I watched Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale last night and it was quite the Finnish treat.

Dead Snow's great. I despair at this board some times.

If by great you mean a flawed gore-fest. It is exactly what you'd imagine a rubbish foreign film would consist of, a broken concept, blood and tits. Um, on seconds thoughts...

Whilst the plot is a little here, there, and everywhere, Horrible Bosses has its funny moments if you're struggling to find anything to watch.

^^if not for it's funny moments Horrible Bosses is worth watching just because of the few scenes with Jennifer Aniston

Johnny Mad Dog is worth a watch, it's about African child soldiers so it's not exactly a light hearted film but don't let that put you off.

Black Dynamite.
A spoof Blaxploitation film. It's utterly hilarious!

Has anyone seen The Artist? supposed to be a great film but I can't seem to get my head around watching a silent movie, might have to make a concerted effort though if it's really that good.

I watched source code the other week. Very strange but a good film. Bad teacher was alright too. Cameron Diaz is hot in that!

Only just watched Scott Pilgrim vs the World. Wow. Hats off to the team behind the editing. I was put right off when I thought he had picked the wrong girl
