The Big Year is uncomfortably bad.

The Thing remake has some decent effects but doesn't reach the isolated paranoia that the original did.

The Thing remake has some decent effects but doesn't reach the isolated paranoia that the original did. Not a remake, it's a prequel. Also, the original from the 50's? Watched Hunt To Kill. Pretty good action film. Stone Cold has really carved a niche for himself in these sort of movies. I've always been a bit surprised he's not hit the Hollywood heights The Rock did.

From the brief bits i've seen Chronicle & The Grey look decent. When the Girlfriends gets back from Holiday im making her take me to see both & due to all my recent free time i've ordered and watched alot of older films, Serendipty being the pick of the bunch great film.

Just watched The Man From Nowhere the other day. A fantastic movie in my opinion. If you like movies like Taken you'll like it. It's like Taken mixed with martial arts. And if you like knife fighting it has one of the coolest knife fights I've seen in a long time.

for those with a missus and who wants to get in the good books go watch the vow. it seems like a chick flick, and is, but its not that bad and based on a true story which i always like. dont get me wrong, its not a movie that guys would normally like, but its a chick flick that isnt so bad that it feels like your balls are in a vice while your watching it.

On the subject of chick flicks, watched Midnight in Paris a few months ago. Well worth the time if you're into that sort of thing.

I had to go see the Vow and I must say it was much better than I expected. It's not something I'd go see again or anything, but it was a decent flick.

Wednesday. Been a long two weeks. Haha No, what I was doing was highlighting the fact that you said girlfriends. Plural. I assumed it was a typo, if not congrats. And also commiserations for the less appealing aspect of having two women
