Gandu. Bengali film. Unlike any Indian movie you've ever watched. www.imdb.com/title/tt1841611/If you do end up watching it, I'd recommend you don't do so sober.

Obviously if you havent seen Drive by now - do it.
Just finished watching Take Shelter - My God, you guys need to watch this film. Atmospheric terror throughout.
Michael Shannon, take a bow.

Well, I don't know if many of you have seen this movie, called The Man from Earth. Hands down one of the best movies I've seen. Made on a shoe string budget, insanely thought provoking. Brilliant film. Watched it for the umpteenth time yesterday.

Not a bad film at all. Not sure if the hype does it many favours but I still enjoyed it.

Isn't Hunger Games basically Battle Royale for American Mallrat girls?

That's not a criticism of the film, it's a cool concept, but has been done long before and better. I'm gonna give it a watch when it drops on the torrent sites.

Mesrine: L'instinct de mort (Killer Instinct)
and the sequel
Mesrine: L'ennemi public n°1 (Public Enemy #1)
Two of the most badass/awesome films I've seen this year. Imagine a French Scarface, a true about France's most wanted and, arguably, most famous criminal - Jacques Mesrine. Sort of a life and death of kind of view.
These really are great if you're at all a fan of the genre.

Really liked the first Meserine, thought the 2nd one ran out of steam a bit in comparison. Jay, check out a french movie called A prophet. Outstanding.
BTW, the new trailer for Promethus looks fantastic!

I'm very much looking forward to a film called 'Ted' which is coming out this year. Written by Seth Mcfarlane and it seems to have the same family guy wit. Well worth finding the trailer on youtube. Looks hillarious.

Friggen awesome movie Stew, watched it last year!
If you're into French films check out a film called 13 Tzametti, one of the most suspenseful movies I've ever seen, it's killer!

Isn't Hunger Games basically Battle Royale for American Mallrat girls? Thought the Hunger Games was excellent, very good. I think there is three books, so a couple more films on the way, maybe more.

Just watched the Dictator. Not the best movie as far as plot is concerned as its mainly all fictional but Christ did I laugh through it, especially the helicopter scene. If you like Borat, Ali G or Bruno then you'll like this. Defo touches on every single area so at least no1 can complain their are being targeted.
