Think the reason this game has been so good is because of the contrasting styles of the players.

As mentioned, Higgins is the best match player in the game.

Williams is a maverick and probably the best shot maker in the game.

I could watch these 2 play each other in a best of 99 quite happily!

Hmm, respectfully disagree mate. Higgins is a cracking shout but i think Murphy is the best shot taker. Maybe Trump as well.

I really think this Williams I've seen this year is as good as the Williams from the late 90's early 00's. Back then he was widely regarded as one of the best middle and long distance potters ever. Also some of the more elaborate shots he takes on compared to others are just unreal, which is shown by the amount of shots he could've had for shot of the tournament. 

Whether he keeps this form up next year or this is kind of his last hurrah, I'm not sure but he's a joy to watch when he plays snooker like this. So entertaining.

Selby is a strange one. Very boring to watch but man he's hard to beat (not this year obviously). He'll probably win a couple more world titles before he's done as well.
