For that sort of money I thought perhaps Gotze would have been at the top of the wish list. I would be very satisfied indeed with Gaitan mind. If he becomes ours then the Bebe transfer suddenly makes sense.

Mendes was Bebes(who had been available for 150k a month before) agent for no more than 2 weeks and Mendes pocketed half of the 7.5m transfer fee, some seen it as a sweetner for future deals.
Similar to De Gea, who Mendes "officially"represented for 2 weeks before his long anticipated transfer took place.The man is a snke with very good contacts or has dirt on very good contacts.
Its a strange affair, I`m not sure if its United empowering Mendes or vice versa but there is dodgy dealings afoot!

We did the Bebe deal to essentially pay off Mendes so he would make sure the Gaitan deal would go ahead.
Anyone else concerned that he's Argentine? Is it just that all the Argentinian players I've known at United have either flopped or been bellends an I'm paranoid?
