Did the potted plant just happen to be some home grown J? Well it certainly made you think. Would you ever do one again?

lol nah it was just some houseplant.
i don't think i'd do one again, but i didn't plan to do that one either, it was an impromptu thing that they decided to do. to be honest i've been left un-moved by the whole thing so whatever. but it was an eye-opener, definitely one of those things i'd have had a hard time believing if i'd not actually seen it. i'm not so quick to write it off when people claim to have experienced something either

For me it comes down to proof. Belief in the paranormal goes back thousands of years. Yet there has never been one iota of concrete proof. Sure, there have been photos. But there are a number of explanations for vague images appearing in the background of stills. Very much a sceptic. If you're interested may I recommend reading anything by James Randi. Or if you have paranormal powers, may I recommend you take him up on his $1 million challenge.

Seconded for the word, bullshit. As it is all bullshit.
Had an ex-girlfriend who used to believe in ghosts, oh how I still laugh at her for it.

after your experience then 7 - what's your view of the para normal? open minded? All throughout growing up I wouldn't have believed anything without seeing it. Now you'll probably find me somewhere between the lines of agnostic and agnostic atheist. I understand why people dismiss. Although the majority tend to be bastardised views by the pretentious. And I respect those who, like yourself, are open to the concept of such an occurrence. Albeit through having an 'experience' yourself.

As 7even said I did have a thread wayyyy back when about the paranormal. I have seen and heard some things that I cannot explain. And the possibility of something like ghosts or spirits existing interests me. I mean, who's to say that what we believe to be ghosts are just some kind of living being? We discover new species everyday after all, it's just a thought. As for experiences, I have seen black masses, shadow figures, and heard a girl whisper in my ear when there were no girls around. I personally am skeptical, I need to see or hear something to believe it. In a few cases, I have seen or heard something I cannot explain, hence paranormal.

Like ufo sightings, most can be explained. Some however, are unexplainable. We all know who to call, if we encounter a ghost?
