www.bryanalvarez.com/past-showsthis guy interviews authors, police, conspiracy theorists, scientists etc about modern folklore / science / technology / paranormal / etc. all free to download. i've listened to shows about area 51, future technology, and the illuminati and they've all been pretty good.

Generally if I can't find a rational reason for the cause of an apparent paranormal event then it's because I'm not smart enough to find it. I refuse to believe in the paranormal with the current utterly flimsy evidence in support of it, which generally consists of people saying a room felt cold.... apparently a room feeling cold is beyond the scope of science and is instead the realm of woo-peddlers.
Not to mention those television "psychic" scumbags like Colin whatever his name is and that stupid old hag that seems to have gotten popular recently. It's nothing more than cold reading and the law of averages acted out by frequently deluded assholes preying on recently bereaved, vulnerable and considerably gullible people.
Bloody hell, paranormal wankery really does my head in. It's up there on my list of extreme hatred with homeopathy, Wiccans and Justin Bieber.

yeah those TV shows are gash.
i'm not interested in the paranormal, but i do enjoy reading about dark shit. serial killers, cults, the mafia, things like area 51, urban legends. i don't jump in head first but i find it entertaining.

sorry 7even, i'm not knocking those with an interest. it's not that i'm disinterested in it, i'm an open minded person, i've had an experience like i described before. but as i said in previous post i'm more interested in certain other things which to be honest i'd say aren't a million miles away from the paranormal.
i reckon you'll enjoy the podcast that i posted at the top there ...

Oh it wasn't a dig J. I was just pointing out, rather poorly, that I'm all for split opinion.
And I've bookmarked that link to watch at a later date.

cool mate. they are hour-ish long radio shows, i've been sticking them on my mp3 player for when im at work last couple of weeks or sometimes crack one on before i go bed. some of them have been pretty interesting. don't be put off by the host bryan alvarez, he sounds like a nerdy guy but he's ok.

Of course we're all going to have different opinions. My only issue with people who immediately dismiss it is the fact that they say it doesn't exist because of people on tv making it all up. you can't take things for face value, I base my beliefs on things that have happened to me or people I know and trust. No one has to believe me or anyone else, just keep an open mind. And J I'll definitely take a look at those videos.

Whether it's real or just an innate nervousness in everyone, it creeps the hell out of me!
I'd be curious, but not keen. Sort of.

Ghost tv shows have been a big rage over here for a while. The only one I really like is ghosthunters.I have never had an "experience" but living just outside an older town I have heard a few tales. I am a parking enforcement officer {yeh ona them} and one of the police swears they were pushed in a house were an old man had recently died. But I draw the line at bigfoot.

i do try to stay away from conspiracy theories and stuff like that - except for ones about 9/11 which appear to be blatently obvious
I do however believe in the paranormal - 4, almost 5 years ago my Nan died and at her funeral I said to my Step grandad (if you will) that I was proud of the time him and my nan shared together and thanked him for making her happy while she was still alive. 6 months later he died from a heart attack, a few nights later i was sleeping and i could feel something near me. wether this be in a dream or a semi-concious state, i really do not know but i saw a black silouette standing over me, for some reason i knew who it was - he thanked me for what i said at my nans funeral and that it ment alot to him. it still brings a tear to my eye when i think about that night.
