we drew ajax in the europa didn't we? everyone on the errikson bandwagon should be rubbing your hands together. if he plays well and the players come in at full time talking about him then Fergie might go in for him

He does say were not making any moves though. Silly article really, whether we buy someone or not you would hope a club like United have almost everyone 'on radar', especially someone pretty well known across Europe.

Sir Alex Ferguson is looking forward to watching Ajax's Christian Eriksen after insisting Manchester United want to win the Europa League.
United face Ajax in the first leg of the last 32 of the Europa League on Thursday and Eriksen is expected to be one of the influential figures in the tie. The Denmark international has been linked with a string of Europe's leading teams, including United, following a string of impressive performances for club and country. Ferguson is aware of the interest in the attacking midfielder and is ready to take the opportunity to run a personal check over Eriksen. "There's been a lot of attention on him," said the United boss. "Everybody's been watching him. We'll see what he's like."

interesting player indeed, cultured midfielder with a goal in him is always an interesting signing. If the money is right he'd certainly be worth a punt.

I think most of us are on the same page, looking forward to seeing him line-up against us. The Gaffer likes buying players who play well against us. . .

He looked fairly good against us, constantly took the ball forward at pace and stung De Gea's hands a few times. Didn't see too much creativity but from what I've seen of him in other matches the boy is class. In our situation though I think I'm just happy we're being remotely linked with genuine midfield talent. He was only 19 at the start of the year remember, can develop into a massive player.
Imagine him, clevs and pogba coming through in the next 2-4 years - exciting stuff.
