I blame Jones for the situation, he had plenty of time to take a look where his keeper was positioned. i'd have said jones mistake was taking his eye off the ball in the first place looking where the attacker was instead of putting his foot through the ball. Fergusons comments there are spot on

As I said again and again, Lindegaard needed to be genuinely tested in some pressure games and we got our answer. Who are number 1 is hasn't changed.

Smashing save in the 1st half but a howler for the 2nd goal. He seems decent but a lot of it has to do with a situation best described by an american sports writer "The most popular sportsman in any american town with a struggling NFL team is the 2nd string quaterback. This usually last for about 2 weeks after he gets his chance....."

I think Smalling is at least equally at fault for the second goal. Linders didn't look comfortable once he couldn't hold onto that Aguero chance and we conceded from it.
Still my No. 1 right now though.

It´s looking increasingly worrying guys. I was shouting for Linders to get a chance but am not exactly sure anymore. Fergie should definitely settle for one of them and just paly him through the season no matter what.

Smashing save in the 1st half but a howler for the 2nd goal. story of a few of De Gea's matches as well. anyone else think that Van Der Sar should have been given another year when he went to see Ferguson about doing a u-turn? would De Gea have benefitted from being brought in, being told to be edwins understudy for 12 months, playing select games? or would the pressure be even heavier on him when he did play with the worlds number 1 VDS still at the club? i'd have loved to have kept Vanders and brought in De Gea anyway.

I would live and die with De Gea, trial by fire. I think he might have stopped one of their goals. Rio really slowing down also.

Time for an SOS to Edwin. Add Bruce, Pally, Becks, Keano and Ruud to the list.

I'd persist with Lindegaard.

Tough decision for Fergie, with neither keeper covering themselves with glory recently. Of course, it's not helping with the injuries to the back 4. I'm sure the management will keep an eye on the lads in training, and talk to them just to see where their heads are. A lack of confidence for a keeper can be catastrophic, so it's important to keep their heads up. So a big job for the coaching staff here.

Neither. Sign lloris
Over half way through the season both keepers have had fair share of mistakes, we were lucky today with anders lapses.

What a headache this goal keeping position is giving us. Linders looked far from reassuring today, I think its VDS we need to be bringing back out of retirement . I don't know what to think anymore..

That's the least assured he's looked for us. Big decision for Fergie. Paid a lot money for De gea. Pick one, or the other. All this alternating isn't helping the defense.
