The lad's had a poor WC and now it's beginning to seep through into the new season. Really paints a better picture on how reliant we were on this hero last few seasons.
Whenever he signs, I just hope his confidence and momentum comes back ASAP as we absolutely need him at his top game for us.

Dave should be the best paid player at the club, there shouldn't be any debate or haggling. Ask him what he wants and then triple it for putting up with the last 5 years. |

Absolutely!
I am absolutely certain that it is important not only for the team but for the club as a whole to keep our best players. As far as Dave is concerned I'm sure that he won't quit over money issues. I just don't trust media shit, as we are often reading invented bollox or some manipulating bullshit which filters to the media through courtyard journos

That's what most of us here are alluding to. It's not that he isn't doing something , it's that he's trying to cheesepare his way through negotiating a deal for our most important player bar none. Also, Dunc is decently reliable now. |
