This used to be a De Gea Lindegaard thread so I'll stick it in here. Anders has married his bird: Hats off lad. Hats off indeed.

I understand Casillas, even though he is getting up there in age, but De God is miles better that Baldy Cunt and that overrated hack Valdez. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere recently that Reina is in the squad mainly as he's good for morale. So, a cheerleader basically. Now known as the Lampard role

"@squawka: ON THIS DAY: In 2011, Man United signed David de Gea for a fee of £18.9m from Atletico Madrid. #MUFC t.co/8oddl2sORm" Bargain. He could be our No.1 for a decade or more. Do you reckon he'd stay that long, providing we're successful or will he follow the pull of Spain later on in his career as so often happens?

I hope I'm wrong but I can see him back in Spain at some point. Suppose the best hope is that Barca have top class keepers over the next decade and save their money for other area's, as he shouldn't be interested in Real as an Atletico boy, and there's no one else in that league who could tempt/afford him. With foreign players though, I've always thought if you get 6 seasons out of them you've done well. It's not that they're any more disloyal than British players, just that naturally there isn't the major draw of staying here for a lad who grew up supporting Italian/Spanish/Dutch/German etc football as there is for a British/Irish lad who grew up idolising English football.

He left the club he supports to come here. We must have massive draw for him. He's not leaving. I'll make the bold prediction he stays here his whole career & competes with Giggs for all time appearance maker.

Flying back from Poznan yesterday, I couldn't help but notice... Does anyone else think that the guy putting the life jacket on in this safety information card looks like De Gea? Maybe it's just me.

Loved his acknowledgement of the fans, like when Stones was down injured and everyone was booming "David, De Gea" "David, De Gea" just little claps and raising his arms.
And his celebration at the final whistle.
Hopefully now he might have played himself into a starting spot since you know he's shit now and lost us the Leicester game and Swansea game on his own.
Useless clown.
