I thought about this yesterday and, even though I'm paranoid, I don't think he's going to Real Madrid.
He's just cementing himself in the team, settling well in Manchester with our new Spanish contingent and a resurgent squad, he's still young and his being lauded all over England whilst getting plaudits abroad as well. We'll get him to sign a new deal - I mean, what would he say?
"I've always wanted to play for Real Madrid." ? Hardly. Athletico lad.
I literally cannot think of what he'd come out and say as reasoning behind a move.
Here's hoping.

Shows his mental strength - he was slaughtered in the media and by other fans when he first came to us - he struggled with crosses and targeted(bullied) by the opposition but he's worked hard (a lot of credit must go to Eric Steele) and stuck with it when a different person would have just fucked of back to safety
Top keeper - top man IMO

If she does, dump her Dave

I still think the only reason the contract hasn't been signed up yet is cos of the CL qualification thing perhaps or us in general taking our time in drawing an elaborate Contract up that will make sure that DDG gets paid high sums alright , but more from the sponsors and less by us or something.

I think he'll stay, but all this talk of not going to Real because of his Atletico ties, I'm not so sure... He left them pretty sharpish when the opportunity came along.
I know we're different to Real, but he's shown already he's brave regarding his career.
But, like I said, I think he will stay anyway

United are truly a massive club though, perhaps players outside of Spain get fooled by the glamour of Real, but players who are already there, who've faced them in the league aren't always that susceptible.

Now he is in form and one of the best, if not the best in the world, everyone will want him. Well they can FUCK OFF.

Well deserved. Picture shows time well spent in the gym, obviously much stronger Time to give the lad a new contract and get him signed up until about 2024.

Well deserved. He's fantastic and is doing well with makeshift defence in front of him!
