Can we not sell Berbatov and use him instead?

The added advantage of Berba going to Juve is that Fiorentina will most likely reject City's offer for Jovetic now!

When Dimitar Berbatov joined Manchester United it was a classic transfer window situation, where City had tried to hijack the deal at the last minute - with the Bulgarian ultimately choosing to join Sir Alex Ferguson and ignore their offers of greater riches. Now it appears he could be in a similar situation. Calciomercato say Berbatov hasn't arrived in Florence just yet, despite him being expected there earlier. They say he is still in Munich awaiting other offers and news on them, before deciding what to do. It's claimed Juventus are now speaking to him and also Fulham, who have just had their own cash injection from Tottenham. Fiorentina are angry and frustrated that he hasn't turned up yet. Juventus have offered the Bulgarian forward €1m more per season and will also match what their fellow Serie A club are paying Manchester United. A move to the Italian champions would surely be more tempting too. This all sounds a bit crazy, but trust us - it's being reported in Italy. source: sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/juventus-and-fulham-try-to-hijack-dimitar-berbatov-at-airp------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- now Fulham apparently are in too, added to Juve as was mentioned earlier. interesting developments!

Sky Sports Italy reporting Berba has agreed a deal with Juve. Happy for him! We will receive 5 million Euros in two installments.

Hopefully the former which would be ok-ish value. Good luck to him, I can see him doing very well in Italy with his talents.

Latter unfortunately. Its 3 million quid. We're underselling, but this in one case where I won't mind it. Berba getting his career back on track at a good club is priority.

From a football position i would like to have seen how he would have fared in Italy, probably suit him more than other league's but it is looking now like he is off to Fulham.

Yes lads, it appears he is off to Fulham! Rejected Fiorentina for Juventus, then Juventus for Fulham. I don't want to play against him.

Plus, Fulham's price should be £10m. Wengernomics.

strange. did neither of Juve or la viola assure him he'd start? did he think italy was a shithole? maybe he's happy in England, which is fair enough.
