Lets be honest here, if Berba goes we're certainly making room for another high paid player IMO. Not something I mind AT ALL.
Berbatov never really hit the ground running for us I don't think, don't get me wrong he's clearly technically gifted, has great ability but has never really 'done it' for us IMO.
Good luck to him, I hope he starts to play regular football elsewhere but I won't be sorry to see him go.

he is a model player, never whinges, took a less offer to play for us.
we should trigger that one year extension so at least he wont be a free.
i think we would prob get 8 mil from a german team

berba has been given many chances, agree with you jim.
he had one top season scoring in bunches in some games, the scouse hat trick most notable but those moments are few and far between.

I like Berbagod but the only reason you'd offer the extension is for the reason above. |

Hes had 3 season to prove himself, Since hes been at the club hes had one good season, last season. Not taking away that hes a good player because he is and he has been treated like an outcast which is unfair giving if it wasnt for him there wouldnt be a Title number 19 yet. But hes had plenty of chances, Just doesnt make the mould like Rooney Dizzie and Chicho. |
