They've hijacked the Siggurdson deal as well. He'll do well for Spurs I reckon. And we'll try to buy him in 2016 for 30 million....

Wait, so you're relieved we won't be getting a player of Bale's quality? Even if he would be considered by some as excess to requirements he's a fantastic player and the type which our club should be aspiring to have playing every week. All I'll say is if we were interested, bleak, it's such a shame we have so many wingers else he'd have been huge at United. That said, a new contract doesn't rule him out of leaving Spurs, it just means they can negotiate a larger fee. We have players in his position better than him. What I also don't want is his one-dimensional football. Absolutely overrated player. My problem is we have players in our club already who, if they were in other teams would be making us drool, and we don't aspire to have them as much as we do to aspire to overrated gazelles like Gareth Bale. And his valuation at 40 million makes me laugh. I'm sorry, but no thanks. |
