Brian Swanson for what it's worth, has just tweeted that Spurs are considering offers from clubs other than RM. Don't believe a word of it. Typical Levy tactic.

Still can't wrap my head around this. More expensive than Ronnie?
I really don't see it. The pressure will invariably get to him. If they were on Ronaldo's back and he scored more than a goal a game you have to wonder what on Earth will happen to Bale.

I've read and heard that we have matched Real Madrids offer which i doubt.. what gets me though is Real still owe money for Modric! so hopefully Levy knows we will pay But i refuse to get excited !

Guys we have offered a miserly 28 million for Baines and Fellaini. Do some folk really and truly think we are going to bid 100 million for Bale??? I must be hiding under a rock and sheltered from something.

Totally agree, Ronaldo had won the Champions League and scored upwards of 40 goals in a season to go for £80million. Also, how is Ronaldo going to feel about this if it goes through? He has one of the biggest ego's in football.

Hopefully he feels like coming home. I question Bales ambition to leave a league he has played in for over 10 years without winning a trophy. As mentioned Ronaldo left as a Premier league, European and World Champion as well as FA cups and League cups on top of his Ballon d`or. Bale running off to play in a two team league is a cop out IMO.

I really don't give a F what Bale's ambitions or Levy's tactics or Real Madrid thinks or happens. Just Get Ronnie on a plane back to OT. Bale can do what he wants at La Liga , will go for him in 2 years time when Real pay 150 M for a 19 yo Kid who has been tearing it up in the u-21's winning the bid against Barca.

Yeah but Ronnie was playing for Utd, not Spurs. If Bale had played for 7 years he'd have plenty of trophies. Carrick had been playing for 6 or 7 years at West Ham and Spurs and had nothing to show for it. What's he won now?
