Or £5m a season for 8 years of service.Rooney cost us a lot of money at the time, turned out at £3m a season so far, pretty good value in my book.
I would offer £25m and Young.
We need players like Bale to scare the shit out of teams again.Bale and Dembele would sort our squad right out.

It's great when you first open it but after a while it loses it's fizz and goes a bit flat. Like Giggs. boom boom actually giggs is more like a tea or coffee people have in curry houses. just because the tea or coffee is best served late in the meal doesn't mean there is no place for tea or coffee. |

too much philosophy its frying my last brain cell. I was saving it to beast the dippers more as well.
everytime someone has a reasonably good game a thread pops up. Im waiting for a Bent thread nw as he scored 2day, its rediculous. Bale is a quality player but well never sign him. 1 hes a midfielder and we dont sign them, its against our code (sarcasm btw as im aware kagawa is a mid b4 i get any smart arses). plus hes 2 expensive.
Ill disagree with you there Redcase. Hes not overrated, hes just over priced. Hes worth 25m tops.
As far as these Giggsy posts go. Hes by no means useless,I agree that he shouldnt start a game as we have plenty of younger options but i still think he can contribute off the bench. Hes not useless, hes just not got the spark he once had and at 38 i dont expect him to.
However i do agree with what Jim is saying. Giggs does tend to take the bullet for the team when it comes to a bad game sometimes its justified, sometimes i think its just for some1 to blame. Yes ive critised him and rightly so sometimes but I have noticed hes becoming the fall guy and a lot of people jump on the bangwagon and slate him. If im being honest there are worse players in the squad at the moment anyway. Even when hes nn the bench people slag him off becoz hes using up a seat so it goes to show he doesnt need 2 even play 2 get people on his case. Hes got this season in him i just hope hes used from the bench as id hate for him to bow out a liability as hes a legend, but at the moment hes no worse than a few players in the squad.

Giggs gets the slack more so because we won;t question Fergie for selecting him to start. That said We are what we are thanks to SAF and players like Giggs and Scholes |

he's a player who makes an impact or changes a game off the bench. if we are over reliant on him and are asking him to start too many games then it's not his fault. blame fergie for not signing a midfielder, blame the midfielders we have at the club for not stepping up.
that's the fact of the matter, it's non-debatable. hush up

There aren't? erm Nani, Bebe, Macheda. the latter 2 are fucking abysmal anyway but Nani is the most off form player in the squad at the moment anyway. Be fair Bestie mate I respect anyone's opinion and your not completely wrong with it, but give him some credit, hes not the player he once was but hes by far useless(well not all the time anyway). Forget what has happened off the pitch. He can still contribute towards the game even if its leaving it to 15-20mins off the bench. |

I agree with jimbonda in that Giggs still has a role to play but Ferguson is overusing him and that's what's causing the problem. Bring him on from the bench to use his experience and calm things down, sure, but don't start him in big games with Carrick and Scholes. Never gonna work. And it's also a bit harsh on young players like Cleverley who consistently impress for us when picked. Even Anderson arguably deserved a start after his performance midweek.
That said, Nani worse than Giggs? Not having that.
