That period when you finish graduating and you have to think what next to do can be excruciating. Especially if you're like me , highly confused and not knowing what the fuck you want to do, glad I'm going somewhere now.

Recent med school graduate here. Officially qualified to practice medicine in India but currently sat at home studying for exams that would enable me to pursue a residency course Stateside. Would have dearly loved to work in England, but job ops for foreign grads are slim to none now. Bummer. All you Biotech guys out there - these protein kinases do my head in. I'm reviewing hormone signal transduction and can't for the life of me recall the differences between G protein coupled receptors, cGMP and tyrosine kinases. Its one badass subject!

Architectural Technologist/Graphic Designer!!
Do the Graphics on the side as I never went to Uni to get a qualification that so many Agencies want to see nowadays!
Kinda fell into my job as a Technician though through a friend of mine!

Currently a Conference/Event Manager in Reading.
Which is not what I thought I'd be doing when I graduated with a degree in History...

Currently a Conference /Event Manager in Reading. . Ah. I wish I could do that part time. Only music events though. Bring some amazing bands to India that people have never heard of.

Promoting shows/tours is one of the hardest things I've done. And that's with bands I knew would make me money, let alone bands no ones's heard of and then you make losses in the thousands.

I'd just be in it for fun though. Get to meet my favorite bands. There has been a recent upsurge in excellent bands like Opeth, Katatonia, Sepultura, Lamb of God, Pain of Salvation, Porcupine Tree, Tesseract, Enslaved etc touring India. And they all get massive crowds here. In fact Opeth were overwhelmed by the sheer size of the audience the last time they were here. Crowds will never be a problem in this part of the world.

Well let me assure you I don't organise anything as glamorous as music concerts! I deal with business meetings, networking events, seminars etc. I would complain half as much if I was dealing with bands! The only gigs I organise these days are my own, and they're smaller and rarer now that I've gone solo.

@ ginger18
I'm not actually sure. Most of my recent shows have been quite small-scale. Just local bars and stuff. Although things are looking up - I was recently invited by one of my contacts to play at a Fans Festival near Poznan for Euro 2012 this summer!

As for Poznan - you'll find the locals share a mutual hatred for City.

Nightmare! @ Benji - I've played gigs in Poland before and you're right, the crowds are excellent.
