I just hope, and sorry for being cynical here, that he's not considering United as a stepping stone to a "bigger team", i.e. Real or Barca.
He'll pobably get #26 or 29. Perhpas give Wazza 7 and Kagawa 10? I know most fans wouldn't ever want to see Rooney in the #7 shirt though, haha.

No Jay. Even his coach at Dortmund said they couldn't stand in the way of this move as it was his dream since he was a kid. The Premier League is the biggest in Japan by a mile apparently.

Good to know, let's hope he's here for the long haul! (My original statement was motivated by a fear that he declined #7 as he's not considering being here for such an extended period)
