I remember his interview, where he said that Fergie had suggested that this is greatest challenge and he should not let go and should grab it or something similar to this. Our Gaffe sure knows to spot top player, that's for sure

One of the youngest players on the Uefa nominations list of best 32 players in Europe. If this move comes off for him, this will be an inspired signing

Yeah I head the"shirt seller" had a chance of making it! In fairness, our transfer policy gets some stick but we may have pulled off a master-stroke here. He would have been nearly double what we paid if he wasn't in the final year of his contract.

Shinji Kagawa on Tuesday described the "overwhelming" atmosphere at Manchester United as he prepared to make his club debut.
The Japan international joined the storied club from Borussia Dortmund earlier this summer and appears to have already adjusted well to his new home.
"The city and architecture is quite different from Dortmund," Kagawa wrote in his official blog, "And I still feel like I am a tourist; everything is new and exciting.
"Manchester is very relaxing and the time is flowing very slowly. I think this is a great environment for a football player."
Kagawa is embracing his humble roots in the J-League's second division by wearing the same number 26 he wore at Cerezo Osaka and he also took the time to praise his fans in Dortmund.
"The stadium’s zealous and overwhelming atmosphere, all created by the supporters — the whole Dortmund experience will remain on my heart forever," the Uefa Player of the Year-nominated star wrote.
"Because of your support and cheering, I became who I am, and I am standing where I am now."

Scholes has said in a recent interview that Kaggy could make the difference and get us the title from city. I'd like to believe so too.

Wayne Rooney reckons new Manchester United signing Shinji Kagawa will be a major boost to the strikers' supply line at Old Trafford. Kagawa has impressed his team-mates early on his Reds career and ahead of Wednesday's friendly against Barcelona Rooney is looking forward to their link-up. "Shinji's settled quite quickly," Rooney told www.manutd.com. "He's a talented player, he likes to get on the ball and keep it simple. "He's very effective on the ball. It's great to have that sort of player in the team. I'm looking forward to playing with him and I think he'll create a lot of chances for myself and the other forwards. It's exciting to have him in the team." Rooney scored 34 goals last season and is feeling fit and ready after his Euro 2012 exertions. He added: "It's great to play in big games and Barcelona is one of them. "It's all part of our preparation and we need to make sure we do the right things. We want to enjoy the game and get our fitness ready for the first game of the season. "The result, in some ways, isn't the most important thing. What's important is the fitness and the sharpness. I'm happy with how I'm doing. I've been training for almost two weeks and I've been working hard. Everything's going well so far." menmedia.co.uk/wilmslowexpress/sport/football/manchester_united/s/1585494_manchester-united-striker-wayne-rooney-expects-shinji-kagawa-to-impress
