City don't even have a scouting network, how would they know about this guy We've been following him since he was about 15, seems there is probably an agreement in place as well. Heard Tim Vickery talking about him before, saying theres no doubt he's a top talent and he really knows where the net is, but maybe he could do with another season in Chile with another years worth of first team football to develop and get game time, before moving to United. So if Fergie wants him, with the amount of strikers we have at the moment, I wouldn't be suprised if he stayed there. Also with the work permit, we're sending ones that are rejected to Macca at Twente now.

A bit worried about the work permit issue. As I understand it, these youngsters have to have had national first team experience in order to obtain a work permit and have at least 8 appearances for the national team. This guy only has appearances for age specific national team sides which surely means he's not eligible for a work permit. So will he go on a loan move to Belgium?

www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2188234/Angelo-Henriquez-Manchester-United-medical.htmlChilean striker Angelo Henriquez has completed his medical ahead of a move to Manchester United. The deal to take Henriquez from Universidad de Chile to Old Trafford has been in place for some time and the 18-year-old is set to seal the switch. The teenager spent around three hours at Bridgewater Hospital in Manchester on Tuesday. United's rivals Manchester City had been linked with a late move for Henriquez. - Much like Hernandez, I think other teams sniffing made us force the deal through quicker. The pains of being Utd eh, doing rivals' scouting for them

we have had a deal and agreement in place long time back if i understand correctly.
Its just a case of Mancini wanting to do some last gasp shopping. Rodwell was a panic buy and so is this attempt. Any buys that Mancini will do in these last days ought to be funny really and as always expensive.

Reports on this guy are good. Lets hope he turns out to be successful signing like Chicharito. Will he be joining us this season or there is some work permit crap issue?
