Wonder when he'll actually sign It would not be prudent to have him round a table with RVP tomorrow, he may develop unrealistic wage expectations!

Chilean striker Angelo Henriquez is to join Manchester United by the end of the month, according to his club.
The 18-year-old is due to sign for a reported £3.5million after undergoing a medical at Old Trafford. His team, Universidad de Chile, released a statement which read: "Angelo Henriquez will join Manchester United this month.
"The player is physically and mentally prepared to take this determining step in his career."
Universidad president Jose Yuraszcek said: "Manchester United's representatives told us that it was fundamental for them to take him now."
Henriquez made his Chilean league debut this year, scoring 10 goals in 15 games, adding another four in the Libertadores Cup.

Sounds like we intend to get him here and in the reserves. Always was a possibility since Keane did his knee in. Suggestive we have the WP? Do you need one for reserve level?

If we keep him here for the next three years he will count as a home grown player for UEFA/PL rules.Does any one know if we can still loan him in England without affecting this?

Homegrown is a reference to being trained for 3 years (under 21) in England or Wales at any level, so yeh we can loan him. Would be the plus for bringing him over now if we can.

If he cant get a Work Permit to play for us, then we wouldnt be able to loan him to another club in England or Wales or Scotland or Ireland - he would have to go to Belgium or Holland.
That would affect his Homegrown status surely?

Yep without a work permit he wouldn't be able to work (play) in UK, can train but not play. Only reason to loan him to Belgium/Holland is to increase his profile and hope he plays internationals. Takes about 3 years to get a passport through nationalisation so pointless.
