I think there is a place for you in pedants' or pedant's corner....(depending on whether there is more than one of you....) I am sitting here firmly in pedants' corner as we speak. Currently alone but hopefully a few of you will join me later. I will be listening to some of my old CD's of The Stone Rose's, The Maccabee's and all sort's of song's. PS. It's a corner for pedants. So definately pedants' rather than pedant's! |

Surely until such time that another poster joins neilmack in the corner, it is the pedant's corner.
Only when another enters will it become the pedants' corner.
That's my take on it anyway.

Ahh, well you're both right in a way. But what I am saying is that this particular corner is a dedicated corner for whoever (of those of a pedantic nature) wants to sit there. It's not any old corner which happens to be available for the masses. It's just a corner for pedants. If it happened to be a corner where a pedantic person sat, then yes it could be pedant's corner. I hope I'm not being too pedantic about this? |
