What can I say, I'm a wordsmith. And it's "You said it better than I. . . too pedantic. . ." But yeah, the "pedantic" thing? Like the provebial parrot, it's dead broseph. Let's move on. Oh dear. My grammar and spelling is usually decent. A schoolboy error with the to instead of too!

When are we going to start selling some players. Too many average players in the current squad. We've started a clear-out: Ritchie De Laet, Matty James, Tomasz Kuszczak and Michael Owen. Not first-teamers sure, but on the payroll none the less. I'm certain Macheda's played his last game for us and Berba will be off as soon as he decides on what offer to accept.

Interesting that none of Pogba, Fryers or Petrucci were mentioned on the official post on the site.

aussieG very true wage bill getting cut which is good, i like stuff like that as financially we cant be carrying dead weight. berbna needs to pick quick, anderson needs to be sold and yes add macheda to that list, in total we are prob talking 180k a week of wages from them. of the 3 the biggest dissapoint has be anderson when you factor in price paid, expectation, glimpses of talent and age. as for the other mentioned names i hope petrucci signs, also need to know the hold up with pogba, would have thought the ink would have dried on his juve contract by now.

Didn't know there was potentially a problem with Petrucci? What's that about?

Havent heard of any problem with Petrucci, infact I read a recent interview with him and he appears delighted with his progress and future at the club.Hopefully anyway as I think he will be a cracker for us.

Transfer rumours have gone eerily quiet. Normally means we are about to make a huge transfer! Or the dreaded Gill/Fergie quote " No value in market". Have to say I would like another 2/3 players in and a clear out of the sub standard players.

Regarding Pogba, I read that he only became a free agent on Sunday so maybe he they were waiting for that.
