I don't hate Murray, I just don't really mind/care.
If Murray wins, it's huge becase he has finally won a Wimbledon for the whole 'no British winner for ages thing' and a Grand Slam for himself personally.
If Roger wins, it's huge because he's 30, he'll be back to number one in the world which will take him past Agassi, when no-one thought it was possible for Federer to ever get back there ahead of Novak and Nadal, and because he will have won it 7 times.
Murray has over-whelming home support.
Federer has beaten Murray in both the Grand Slam finals they've faced each other in.
It should be intriguing if nothing else!

Even though Federer seems like a decent guy, I've had a slight dislike for him ever since he got out that jacket when he won last. Seemed so arrogant and disrespectful to have that on him.
I want Murray to win, but he has seemed to lack a proper Champions mentality. A bit like Arsenal- play well, look good and win and then crumbles just before the final hurdle. maybe its just because h hasnt actually yet won anything Major, mainly because he's unlucky to be in an era of 3 great tennis players.

Federer's the best ever. How can you hate him? Murray is just so fucking unlikable. His ability is unquestionable but hes got a face I could repeatedly punch just for a laugh. When he opens his gob I want to do it quicker. Yes Murray is a bit of a miserable shit but this year hes played a lot better and got the rewards for it. Its his first final so I want him to win. I think itll be a close game either way. |
